This hotel is in a great location in terms of being close to town and transport links. The tram leaves from right outside and you’re in town in 20 minutes. The room was well furnished and equipped and very clean. Staff are available online for booking adjustments, queries and maintenance requests. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful. The maintenance man was exceptional.|Undercover parking was also available (extra cost), plus sauna, shared lounge and kids playroom. There’s a small 24 hr supermarket downstairs and another a five minute walk away so perfect for self catering.|On the down side, we found it overly warm inside the room even with no heating on and the hotel is on a busy main road so if you need the windows open, it’s noisy. In addition, we couldn’t connect to any Australian websites using the hotel internet which meant we couldn’t do any online banking, read home news sites or access any australian government sites for tax, health or travel purposes. This was inconvenient to say the least and the only place we’ve been in six months where this has happened. Overall though, really happy with our stay here, so much so, we extended....
Read moreReally happy with this place. We extended our stay because it was so convenient. Close to public transport Tram 10 and buses, easy to go to Helsinki centre. Everything is automated with key code and there is no receptionist but it was no problem for us. To extend our stay we contacted the live chat via Forenom website “Help” centre, they were very quick and responsive. So if you need to talk with someone I think you can live chat on their website.
There is a laundry, office, sauna and lounge for guests and a 24 hour supermarket “Alepa” downstairs. The room has bathroom with floor heating, a small kitchenette, TV and we were able to set up Netflix, everything you need. The beds are soft and comfortable.
My only complaint is the room was a bit warm, even when it was 9 degrees outside. We were able to open the window a little, and they provide a small fan which was enough to cool down.
I think some of the bad reviews are pre-pandemic, maybe the management was different then? They are very clear that check-in time is 4pm, they say on the booking confirmation. Thankfully I didn’t encounter any of issues during my stay.
10/10 super happy...
Read moreThe best thing about this hotel are the functional rooms. Each room has it's own kitchen with oven, microwave oven, stovetop, fridge, coffee maker and water kettle, and of course the necessary cooking utensils and plates, glasses etc. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. Very well suited for longers stays also.||||It's really easy to get to the hotel by public transportation - buses and trams from the main railway station take about 10 minutes, and you can also reach the Pasila station by bus from this hotel.||||Downstairs there is a shop open 24/7 which is very convenient. In the hotel there is free sauna available every day (women's and men's turn separately), big laundry room and some common areas, if you want to spent time in the hotel outside your room. Across the street there is a cafe that serves breakfast on weekdays (book via Forenom on beforehand) and just down the street a few restaurants to...
