The room was okay, it had everything they said it would. The AC was broken but I didn't feel the need to use it anyway. It was very easy to find as it's right in the city central (also very close to the station which was important for me).||||TV had crome cast which is a bonus. Basic hotel with automatic check-in and self-service access. The door code arrived by email and SMS at 08.00 the morning before arrival. The door code doesn’t expire until checkout time, so a late arrival (01.30) from the Umeå ferry wasn’t a problem.

Access using the door code is from the lobby of a cinema and office building. Rooms are small but with some thoughtful little details. All rooms are on the fifth and sixth floors and have windows, which is not a given for budget hotels in Nordic counties. Good hot shower. Kesä helteillä huoneet ovat kuin saunat. 28 astetta yöllä sekä päivällä. Huoneiden ilmanvaihto on olematon. Huoneissa on ”lämpötilan säädin” mistä saa säädettyä huoneen lämpötilan esim. 18 asteeseen, mutta todellisuudessa se ei tee mitään. Joku tästä olikin jo 11kk sitten maininnut mutta mitään parannusta ei selvästi ole tapahtunut. Huoneet ovat huonon ilmanvaihdon takia tunkkaiset, eikä ikkunoita saa auki ”turvallisuusriskin” takia, jonka kyllä ihan ymmärrän. Ihmisellä jolla on univaikeuksia on mahdotonta nukkua tälläisissa olosuhteissa. En suosittele. Missään ei mainittu ennen huoneeseen pääsyä ettei huoneissa ole ilmastointia.

Lisäksi äänieritykset ovat surkeat, yläkerran äänet kuuluvat paremmin kun 70-luvun kerrostalossa. Ja pitänee mainita että huoneen varustelussa luki parisänky, mutta sängyssä ei kuitenkaan ollut yhtenäistä vuodepatjaa, vaan 2 erillistä. Mikä järki tässäkin on? Ja sänkyhän on 2kpl 80cm sänkyä yhdessä. Huoneeseen kuului myös pieni jääkaappi joka oli melko tehoton, lämmitti huonetta kyllä senkin edestä.

Aamupalaa ei ole paitsi ylihintainen leipä ja pieni juoma tms. jonkun yhteistyö kahvilan kanssa jonka nimeä en muista. Eikä siinä hinnassa ongelmaa, mutta kun hotellin taso on muuten ikävä niin ei paranna vaikutusta. Talvella varmasti ihan mukava.

Mitään sähköpostia tai palaute systeemiä ei firmalta löydy, eikä lomalla huvita käyttää aikaa soittelemalla asiakaspalveluun, niin tämä saa riittää.

Vaikka hotelli nyt on suhteellisen halpa, en silti nää sitä sen 70e/yö arvoisena.
