I usually don't write detailed reviews until and unless there is something really positive / negative about the place. And this one is becoz there are way more NEGATIVES than positives about this hotel. We stayed in this property in September 2022 for 3 nights and had booked 2 rooms for 4 pax
Pro: a. Few of the staff members were helpful and accomodative of our requests
Cons: a. This hotel has NO AIR CONDITIONING. It gets really hot in the room due to lack of AC / ventilation and opening up the windows doesn't really help becoz of the noise pollution coming from the main road hotel is situated on. Usually I am careful while booking a hotel but somehow missed this one. Infact, one of their staff member who had newly joined was also shocked to learn that there is no air conditioning
b. Very few staff understands BASIC ENGLISH. Being a hotel in a global tourist city, the least I expected was for the staff to understand basic English. We had really tough time to explain / ask for anything in English.
c. NO LUGGAGE ROOM - There is no scope of keeping / storing your luggage for a few hours. On my day of check out, since I had a late evening flight I requested the staff to keep the luggage for just 2.5 hours since me and my wife had to go out for some shopping. The hotel manager lady was quite rude and absolutely not ready to understand the situation I was in. She kept repeating that they have no luggage room and can't keep anything. If I want to keep the luggage I should opt for late check out and pay 39 Euros for it. I was not asking for something big. A few hours of luggage storage was the only ask. Even basic hostels and 1-2 star hotel provides this and they call themselves a 3 star hotel. Infact, people who came a bit early for check in had to sit in the lobby until the check in time with all their luggage becoz this 3 star hotel in Paris does not provide luggage storage
d. NO VALUE for MONEY Although looking at the price some people might think it's worth it because of the location / public transport connection but trust me guys the rooms are very basic and very very poor lighting.

Read moreWhen we first arrived service was fantastic, rooms are what you expect nothing fancy but everything you needed plus clean rooms, dinner was ok not worth what we paid you can get a better meal for cheaper in a restaurant in the center of Paris, price of drink was a joke aswell 25 euro for 3 pints of Heineken, on leaving we asked about paying for parking the receptionist told us just go down the the gate and phone and we will open the door, no charge once we got to the door we phoned reception he then said we would have to wait for a technician as the door was broken, 10 mins later another member of staff said no we would have to go back to reception and pay for parking which is fair enough but would of been better to be told that when we asked the first time not even an apology and made us feel like idiots to be honest and not even a discount on parking for staying 3 nights 60 euros which is also a joke, underground parking is tiny and not much space to maneuver, for the facilities at the hotel and the prices they charge for parking, food and drink I wouldn't say it was worth it. Everything was plain sailing til check out which was just a disorganised mess. After staying in normandy the week before with excellent service and accommodation we thought the capital would have been as good...
Read moreThe room is small, and not so clean as it should be. The streets are noisy, the walls and the windows are paper thin. We were lucky because our room was not faced to main street but it was still noisy. Bed is comfortable, but the pillows aren't. Breakfast is just ok, nothing extra. Anyway on hotels.com I chose "pay at the hotel" option. They tried to charge me twice before we arrive, I was lucky because Revolut automatically denied those transactions due to fraud, but check other reviews, not everyone was so lucky. On the day of arrival they asked for my card, first payment was "refused" as they said. It was not... they charged me for the full amount which stucked in "pending" status for 8 days until I got it back from my bank. This happened because the terminal was out of paper.... I had to pay twice the full amount. What if I don't have 1000 EUR on the card? They should return the money...
