Booked for a concert at la defense, this is perfectly situated, a mere 15 minutes walk, it's in the business district so its pretty quiet, there's also a small car park underneath (I'll get to that shortly) so without waffling on, room was a good size, comfy and spacious, we had a separate toilet and shower both clean as a whistle, but the shower pressure, as other have mentioned is woeful, certainly not business hotel grade, and rather than save water, I'm sure it uses more as it takes 25 minutes at a trickle to get the shampoo out of your hair....lifts work a treat, it's the left hand lift only that goes to the car park though. (Yes, stood in the right hand one for 10 minutes like an idiot) Ok what else, there's a table and chairs outside, chairs plural, table singular...for us smoking addicts, which is nice. The breakfast was decidedly average, it's the little things like not putting out empty jam pots....but most was edible, just be mindful (especially my fellow Englishmen) the eggs in the basket are raw and you need to run them through what ai can only describe as an egg toaster....I had to laugh as my wife attempted to break the top of her 🥚 only to find it was raw....so funny, even if I did take a kick to the shin for my mirth...one last thing, the door for the garage is in the road to the right of the hotel as you look at the main door....there is a small layby and at the end you can see a door, theres a tiny ibis sticker on it (try street view) you need to drive up, get out and hit the bell icon on the intercom... So In summary, room good, shower pants, location great, arena walking distance fabulous, parking yes (20 euro a day) breakfast....don't bother, head out to eat, staff pretty...
Read moreThis week I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. On my first night I woke up in the middle of the night feeling itchy and I could feel there was something in my bedsheets. I turned the lights only to find out there was about a dozen bedbugs in my bed and pillows. Imagine the sensation!!! This horrible things were all over my head, my face and my body.... I took some pictures and recorded some video as well. I went down to the lobby and asked for a room change, which they did. The morning after I spoke to the manager and showed him the video. He couldn't believe it and said the hotel was brand new. I showed him allthe bites on my face, neck and arms. He offered they would compensate me somehow, and and offered an apology. Later that day I found out that they had compensated me with the glorious amount of 6,000 fidelity points, equivalent to €100!!! I went back and respectfully told themanager that such comepensation seemed ridiculous. He agreed and offered to increase it to an amount we agreed verbally. As I got back home, I checked my Accor fidelity point balance. They increased the compensation but clearly not in the amount we agreed. Terrible experience x 2: bedbugs +...
Read moreI arrived at the hotel to find out that they do not have any snacks as advertised, so I needed to go out for dinner after a 7-hour trip. Next morning, the water in the shower goes from very hot to cold every second (not an exaggeration) on top of no shower gel as it was not replenished. Informed the reception of water and shower gel. I arrived at the end of the day to find out that gel was still missing and the water problem had been maintained for the 4 days of my stay. 3rd day, I wanted to have a quick dinner just to find out that "the pizzas were not delivered" (this was Wednesday, and i arrived Sunday and there were still no snacks). I asked for UberEats and asked for a beer. "Cannot put it on the room as "they do not have my card on file." I am an All Platinum member for god sake!!! On top of all this, I did not get an upgrade on the room, an apology, a note... nothing. Considering changing the hotel for my businesses in Puteaux (at least 2 weeks every year). And the motto of the hotel is...: "Our motto: "To indulge in...
