Campanile Saint Jean De Luz — Hotel in Bayonne

This is a pretty nice and relativly new Hotel of this Chain. The location is quit convinient for those that travel south (or backwards). It is near to the Highway but a little tricky to find due to the way how it is connected to the mainstreet. Check the Navi First. Service and rooms are excelent in regards to the pricing. The breakfast is typical for those french Hotel chains. I personally use a small bakery that is nearby and you have to pass, If you want back to the highway. Very clean and good parking. All excellent. Very high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Nice quiet location, quiet rooms with quality furniture, furnishings and amenities. Really nice shower. Modern building with grass areas surrounding it. Really friendly helpful girl on reception who made us feel welcome.

We stayed here for one night on a visit from Spain. We come to the area often, usually for a few nights camping. This was a short shopping trip so we opted for a hotel, and will certainly return to the Campanile for other short stays like this one.

A very good experience. No complaints at all. Better than we expected for the low price.

The hotel has everything you need and nothing...

This is the second time that we have stayed here and it is definitely a step up from the usual Campanile. It is new and more like a hotel than the motel style we are used to but still the same, good value price. We have stayed at many Campaniles throughout France as we travel with our dogs and they are all dog friendly and they only charge a few euros for them. As always, the rooms were clean and the beds clean and comfortable. There is always tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. The receptionist rang me to see what time we would be arriving in case it was after 11pm and she spoke excellent English. We are looking forward to staying there again next...
