Over priced and over staffed. Was served by four members staff running and taking our orders. Although all waiters seemed to be rushed off their feet and flustered, but the restaurant was even half full. Bar staff could see we did not receive any menus or offered drinks when sat. The bartender did notice and come took our drinks order. Food was really mediocre. Sides and garnish was abysmal, mushroom ect looked like they could have been left overs from breakfast. No bigger than a hand full of garnish, with a tiny tasteless piece of cod. No sauce no dressing. Not what to expect considering the prices. Just tinned chopped cold peppers on top. The menu only told you the protein and the price, the rest is a surprise. The menu is only in French and when asked to explain one or two items the waiter was clueless. We were both underwhelmed by our starters and both mains. We thought maybe desert could make up for it all. When ask if I would like to see the dessert menu and saying yes. We did not receive the menu. After 15 minutes, I’d had enough and went and got the menu myself. But still the waiter came to see what I would like, but as if the menu miraculously appeared by its self. No apologies. At this point we both decided it was probably best to pay and leave. No deserts consumed. 2/10. From professional chefs perspective. Both worked in hospitality for over...
Read moreIf I could put -5 stars, I would. The fish here is awful - old, frozen and cooked awfully. When they talk about the "fish of the day", they don't mean "the catch of the day" but what is part of their latest frozen food delivery - very misleading. As one other customer pointed out, I also believe they recycle leftover food from their other establishments (e.g. the breakfast food from the hotel buffet becomes part of the side vegetables for dinner). At this price point, it's just scandalous. We got two appetisers and ate less than half as they tasted terrible and were cold from the fridge. We mentioned this to the waiter when he came to get the dishes. We then got two main courses and sent them back after one bite. My St. Peter fish was half raw and smelled terrible, and my partner's wild prawns were wildly overcooked and old. At this point, we just wanted to leave. The waitress was kind and apologetic, but other than that, we got no apology from anybody else, least of all the chef. We left abruptly, and we will never come back or recommend. Shame on the owner for taking so blatantly advantage of its customers. There are way better restaurants in the area that honour their territory and its produce instead of buying cheap METRO produce, which comes from god knows where (we asked, and the waitress couldn't tell us where any of the fish on the...
