Le Serre Chevalier — Hotel in Briançon

Cant complain one bit about this hotel! Firstly the location itself is excellent, you are about 100 meters away from the bottom of the mountain where the ski lifts and ski schools meet up, there is also a row of shops & restaurants located here as well. Hotel itself is a well run family business, it was nice clean and cosy. The room was small and basic but exactly what's needed on a ski holiday, our room had a double bed, a bunk bed with a wardrobe in it, The bathroom was also small but had everything you needed in it, nice power shower. The balcony in our room had a nice view of the mountains as well which was a very pleasant view to wake up with. Staff were very helpful and very friendly throughout our stay. Food and drinks were excellent, we were half board and breakfast and dinner was lovely. Good enough variety at breakfast and dinner was excellent, nice hearty home cooked meals brought out onto your table in the dishes they were cooked in. There's a bar in the evening which was good, even managed to have a drink with the owner Pierre which was a nice touch. The children had a mini football table and a ping pong table to keep them occupied in the evenings. Plenty of seating for the adults to unwind and have a drink after a long day of skiing. There was also a fire which was lit in the evenings. Storage for all the ski equipment was under the hotel which has access from either inside or outside the hotel. The outside access is coded entry so equipment is safe. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. I travelled in a group consisting of 4 adults...

Je suis venu avec des amis pendant 1 semaine et nous avons passé un excellent moment ! Nous avons pu rencontrer les gérants de l'hôtel, qui n'ont été rien d'autre que gentils, arrangeants, de bonne humeur... L'hôtel est top, il est parfaitement implanté aux pieds des pistes, on y trouve une salle télé, un babyfoot, un bar, une grande salle de restauration... Durant la semaine nous avons pu participer à des anniversaires, une soirée concert, un karaoké : tout est là pour nous faire profiter des vacances ! Pierre, Valérie, merci à vous deux, et à toute l'équipe dans les coulisses ! Nous revenons...
