Hôtel Best Western Le Quercy Brive — Hotel in Brive-la-Gaillarde

We've stayed several times at this hotel due to its excellent location. The hotel is clean and modern, though the decor is a bit garish. The superior rooms are comfortable (but I wouldn't recommend a standard room unless you don't mind a particularly small bathroom). The staff on reception were pleasant and efficient. The receptionist on late night duty doubled as bar staff and was really great. The only sour note to our stay was the breakfast. There was very little left when we went for breakfast and when we asked if more was being prepared we were told no, with the usual French shrug. Deeply disappointing experience at Inter-Hotel Le Quercy. As a loyal Accor guest currently staying in another Accor property in a different city, I stopped by to politely ask if I could use the restroom before catching a train. The woman at the front desk — who claimed to be the owner — denied my request and told me, quite coldly, “I’m the owner and I say no.”

Instead of showing any basic empathy or hospitality, she told me to look for a public toilet. No explanation, no courtesy — just outright refusal and arrogance. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially coming from someone representing a global hospitality group. If Accor values customer loyalty, this behavior is a stain on...

We stayed for 10 days in this hotel as some friends were getting married nearby. The hotel reception, breakfast room & cleaning staff all friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. Beds were very comfy, bathroom was immaculate and the hotel was clean everywhere you went. The blackout blinds were about the best I've come across.||It's location is perfect for restaurants, bars, shopping etc. And there is far more to Brive-la-Gaillarde than many might think. Getting to and from the hotel from the train station is quick and easy, so after a tiring days travel within 20 minutes of arrival at the station we were in our room.||Would we...
