The managers of this charming period hotel bent over backwards to welcome us and optimize our stay. We arrived early and they quickly stored our bags and helped up store our bikes safely. When we returned from lunch, our bags were in our room.||Our room was very comfortably set up with coffee maker and all the tea, sugar, even cream! Comfy bed and bedding too. ||The hotel is right downtown, and our room looked onto a square with outdoor terrace restaurants, but it was perfectly quiet at night. Read moreA great hotel in a great location in Chinon. I was unexpectedly on crutches when we arrived but the staff found me a room on the 1st floor which i managed to navigate to. The staff helped us with luggage on arrival and departure which was much appreciated. We had expected a garage space which didn't pan out but it turned out to be no problem as we found a spot in the parking under the tunnel. We were, however, on the third floor with no lift and I (and many others that I saw) struggled to get our cases up the spiral staircase. The room was fine, but nothing special. There was what looked like a nice patio area outside on the first floor which we didn’t get the opportunity to use.
