Belambra Clubs "Les Estagnots" — Hotel in District of Dax

I’ve not written a review of a hotel / holiday accommodation before but feel I really must to voice how awful awful awful this place is. |Heat - |We booked for a 5 night stay in the pines. When we checked in, at 40 degrees, we were told to go to a supermarket if we wanted a fan, despite previous reviews saying they made fans available. |Cleanliness - |Our accommodation was so appalling. The whole lodge smelt of mould. The bathroom was covered in black mould in the shower. I went back to reception to tell them and ask for a different lodge, but nothing available. I was told they would send cleaners in the morning to clean it. It was so awful it was un-cleanable. |I had to go back to this horrid place, with grey old stained sheets laid on a dirty mattress that I had to make. |The cleaners eventually came on day 3 despite me continuing to complain. |Photos here are AFTER the cleaners. |Unsafe environment -|We played table tennis one evening and there was broken glass all around the table, next to little children’s playground where kids were running with no shoes. I went to tell them and they said they would immediately clean up the broken glass. It was there the next morning, and evening.. I told them 3 times how dangerous this was for kids. A lot of it was cleared up but still quite a lot there, so they hadn’t bothered to do it properly. ||Worryingly unsafe hazardous sleeping environment -|On day 3 I remade the sofa bed. The whole place stank of mould so I looked under the mattress. I have attached photos of black mould covering our mattress. I was so shocked and frightened. complained and asked for a new accommodation. I was told they would replace the mattress that evening for us. It wasn’t done and they just gave us an extra sheet to cover the mattress… which obviously doesn’t protect from black mould at all. It was too late to go anywhere else so we had to stay. I could not sleep at all. I sat up all night not wanting to sleep on a mattress full of black mould, terrified I’d slept in it for days, with my daughter. ||In the night I booked somewhere else at great expense in August last minute, and we left the next morning early not finishing our stay. ||I have told at least 3 staff members that lodge had black mould and not to let other guests sleep there. I requested a refund and was told to email a main address. I have emailed 4 times now and no response. The club have responded but pointed me back again to the main address which aren’t responding. ||I’m sorry to have to write such a bad review, but we had to leave early and pay for new accommodation, but more importantly all I can think about it how I, and my children, were breathing in black mould while we slept and the club did nothing about this and probably then rented it out to other guests knowing this. I think this is a huge safety breach and is not what we paid for. The photographs are...

Très bon emplacement et belle animation du club. Cela nous a permis de passer de bonnes vacances malgré quelques soucis...

Le plafond de notre terrasse commençait à s ouvrir (heureusement nous n avons pas été assommé par une planche qui tombe... bon courage aux suivants si jamais...) du coup il y avait régulièrement du sable qui tombait sur la table, donc impossible de manger ou boire sur la terrasse,sinon nous mangions du sable... inconcevable pour nous quand on est en vacances de ne pas manger dehors.. nous avons signalé le problème à la réception. La receptionniste a soit disant prévenu le service maintenance. Personne n est passé et le problème n a pas été résolu. Du coup cher le logement pour devoir manger et boire a l intérieur. Mais pas le choix si on ne voulait pas manger du sable à chaque repas....

Animation pirates très bien, ma fille a adoré. Dommage que la communication ne soit pas top... on voit affiché 1 programme selon les jours. Ce n était pas exact du tout.... Le tennis du mardi, jeudi et vendredi ne sont pas notés, ni même la piscine du jeudi. Et pour l après midi du vendredi, quand je viens récupérer ma fille a 16h45 (sachant que je pouvais la récupérer entre 16h30 et 17h), personne au club pirates, grillage fermé, et aucun mot sur la grille... je m inquiete de savoir où est ma fille. Je vais voir à la salle de spectacle s'ils y sont comme y a le spectacle le soir, mais non. Je file à la réception très inquiète de ne pas savoir où est ma fille dans cet immense club. La receptionniste me dit toute cool "oh ils doivent se balader ! Ils vont revenir!" Je lui dis que non, vu que ça fait déjà 15 minutes que je suis censée pouvoir la récupérer. Elle dit faut attendre. Je lui dis je suis inquiète de savoir où est ma fille, vu qu elle n est pas au club pirates a l heure où elle devrait y être. Limite elle me prend de haut... alors qu elle doit avoir sans doute le numéro de tel des animateurs, elle aurait pu les appeler et me tenir au courant...Elle ne doit pas avoir d enfant, sinon elle aurait compris l angoisse d une mère qui ne trouve pas son enfant là où il devrait être alors que je l ai confié au club. Du coup comme elle s enfiche royalement et ne compte pas m aider, je pars à la recherche d un animateur dans tout le club. Par chance je tombe sur une animatrice au hasard d une rue. Elle me dit ils sont au club des renardeaux. Pourtant personne ne m a dit qu elle était à récupérer chez les tout petits, qui n est pas au même endroit, et aucun mot sur la grille. Et autre souci de responsabilité à revoir : après le spectacle des enfants, ils les laissent partir sans vérifier que leur parents soient bien là. Trop dangereux de les laisser partir comme ça, sans même vérifier que leurs parents soient là, surtout vu le monde...

Club junior,dommage que ce ne soit pas décidé à lavance le programme, car mes ados même le matin en demandant ne pouvaient pas savoir le programme de l après midi, l animatrice elle même de sachant pas encore ce qui sera proposé... un peu plus de préparation et d organisation seraient appréciés par les ados et leur donnerait envie d y aller Et la veillée pizza une horreur pour l organisation.... on nous dit elle peuvent commander la pizza jusqu'à 14h au club junior. Elles y vont à 14h, l animatrice dit faut en fait aller au snack qui ferme à 14h30. On arrive la bas, 14h10, c est fermé, le bar lui ne prend pas les réservations de pizza, ... bref, très mauvaise organisation de ce côté là aussi.

Enfin les soirées proposés par l animation étaient très chouettes. Nous avons bien rigolé, mais quel dommage que les soirées finissent si tôt, 23h30 maximum tout était fini. Un soir la musique s est même arrêtée à 22h40.... Et le bar toujours autant d attente.... et hallucinant quand la serveuse blonde qui est au bar abandonne son poste au bar car elle décide d aller danser sur une chanson qu elle aime. Est elle payée pour s amuser ou servir les clients ?!? Comportement pas du tout professionnel, surtout quand on attend plus de 30 minutes pour enfin...

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt vom 19.07. bis 02.08. zum ersten Mal auf Empfehlung von Freunden in dieser Anlage und hatten einen 5er Bungalow relativ weit weg von der Rezeption. Unsere Bewertung fällt unterschiedlich aus.

Lage: Die Lage dieses Clubs ist gut. Man ist ca. in 10-15 min. zu Fuß am Strand. Es gibt viele schattenspendende Bäume, die es aucvh braucht, wenn die Sonne scheint, um auf der Terrasse sitzen zu können. Leider hatten wir einen Bungalow, wo es keinen einzigen Baum gab. Hier haben wie ein Sonnenschutz stark vermisst, z.B. ein Sonnenschirm oder ein Sonnensegel, was der Betreiber hier eigentlich zur Verfügung stellen muss. jetzt haben wir uns selbst beholfen und uns einen Sonnenschirm und Ständer gekauft.

Service: Das Service-Personal an der Rezeption war wirklich immer sehr freundlich, verständnisvoll und hat all unsere Anliegen schnell bearbeitet und meistens auch gut gelöst. TOP! Als wir am ersten Abend Ameisenbefall gemeldet haben, kam innerhalb von 15 min. ein Kollege und hat das Problem gelöst.

Zustand des Bungalows: Die Gebäude sind in die Jahre gekommen. Wenn man für zwei Wochen fast 3T€ bezahlt hat, kann man deutlich mehr Gegenwert erwarten und auch verlangen. Das Küchen-Inventur war nicht vollständig, aber zum Glück bekommt man an der Rezeption alle Sachen, die fehlen meistens sofort. Bei uns waren es Toaster, Trinkgläser, Salatschleuder. Generell ist die Ausstattung ok, aber für 5 Personen ist dieser Bungalow grenzwertig von der Größe her. Das Bad ist eine absolute Vollkatastrophe und Frechheit. Hier muss ganz dringend renoviert werden. Überall war Schimmel, wirklich abstoßend, die Klobrille war von unten völlig demoliert und kaputt, das geht einfach gar nicht. WANN wird hier endlich komplett renoviert ???

Sauberkeit: Bei Einzug haben wir Haarbüschel im Kühlschrank vorgefunden und besagten gesundheitsschädlichen Schimmel in der Dusche, der sich wahrscheinlich auch durch das beste Putzen nicht mehr beseitigen lässt. Desweiteren fanden wir in fast allen Räumen noch Spinnweben. Hier muss dringend das Reinigungspersonal entsprechend angewiesen werden, gründlicher zu putzen. dieses Problem war übrigens dem Surfcamp-Leiter auch schon bestens bekannt durch Schilderungen anderer Gäste. Passiert hier etwas?

Wenn diese geschilderten Mißstände abgestellt würden, könnte man sich überlegen, dort nochmal hinzufahren, da ansonsten die Angebote auf der Anlage, die Lage und das gesamte Setting und die Menschen dort wirklich gut und freundlich waren, aber es bleibt zu befürchten, dass trotz der schlechten Bewertungen aus den vergangenen Jahren hier weiterhin nichts passieren wird.

Und ich möchte bitte auch keine KI-generierte Standard-bla bla-Antwort von irgendeinem Belambra Club-Customer Service Manager, wenn nicht wirklich auch Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung dieser Probleme in den nächsten Monaten...
