Disturbing and disappointing experience...
I would like to make note that this is the first review I ever wrote for a hotel for multiple reasons. Firstly, I have booked 4 rooms 2 with ocean views and 2 city view and then the receptionist excited me saying that the hotel gave me two rooms with balconies. However, when I went and checked in it was just 1. I can see there is a huge miscommunication between their team members !
One of the rooms smelt like an ashtray LITERALLY and the bathroom floors were sticky! I think they poured alcohol and didn’t clean it, which I did not mind but when I looked for the hotel slippers i did not find any provided !
The room keys stopped working every time I put the keys in my wallet or even my pocket. When I told the receptionist about the situation, he told me that yeah it’s an issue we have.
I can see that this hotel is based on cost cutting and profit chasing with very expensive rates that do not suffice the service nor the accommodation !
I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have to say I have never been agitated enough to write a whole negative review.
The definition of depreciation can be seen in all the 4 rooms my family stayed in.
Beware and check your options before you stay at the dark garden...

Dispite the website showing that the hotel has a gym it does not. ‘The gym’ consists of a cross trainer and two treadmills inside a hotel bedroom (room 501). The also has dumbells upto 9kg..
The hotel room we stayed in (428) avoid, you have noise all through the night from the bars outside the front and banging from construction work out the back and side.
We did not choose to complain as we weren’t spending much time in the hotel and I wouldn’t have wrote a review either based in this dispite being disappointed.
The reason I am choosing to write a complaint now is due to the hotel attempting to charge me the charge for 6 nights 3 more times! The payment of €718.20 was taken from my balance in full on the day we arrived. Upon checkout we only had an additional €14.50 to pay for drinks at the bar which we paid.
Since arriving home I can see they have attempted 3 more payments all of which aren’t consistent amounts. I am awaiting a response via email as I could not understand the voicemail o received of them mentioning they have made a mistake 😠
