I was initially allowed into the nightclub without any problems. But when I went to order drinks, the manager wearing a suit came over and told me I couldnât wear my casual adidas tracksuit jacket. This felt unfair since many people around me were dressed casually in all sorts of styles including all sort of "tech fleeces" and stuff.
It was really noisy, and he spoke to me in French, which I didnât understand because Iâm a foreigner. When I tried to clarify that I don't speak French and that I don't understand why I was let in the first place, suddenly a large black man aggressively pushed me out of the club without any clear explanation or warning.
The whole situation felt discriminatory and very unpleasant. When I stated that I want my entry fee back paid back to me, I was told that I can leave my jacket to cloakroom and go back inside.
