Le Central Hôtel — Hotel in Niort

Great downtown location, no parking! You have to find your own parking spot on the crowded busy street, I found one spot in a 10 min parking zone 300 yrds away for overnight, with luck, no ticket! We ended up getting room #1 , the room in their picture, the shelf in the corner over my head in the corner is stapeled together, do not touch it it will fall! The bed was confortable, barely room to get around it, the bathroom was spacious but had a toilet wax ring leak onto the floor. Stayed for a one night to make catching an early morning train more convenient. Great location, close to train station and bars and shops. Staff were friendly and welcoming, all the parts of the hotel I saw were perfectly clean. Room was comfortable and well heated. Wifi was very fast. Shower was very powerful and hot. For a short stay there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel for the price. I would say my room (number 4) would have been quite small for 2 people but for 1 person alone it was fine. Will...

Accueil agréable de la part de la réceptionniste mais c'est tout. Hôtel très bruyant, sol très très bruyant. Nous avons passé une nuit désagréable, beaucoup de bruits du voisinage (tv, bruit de pas) etc.. Soit disant les chambres sont insonorisées. C'est totalement faux, nous entendons tout ce que je fais le voisinage. La décoration de la chambre était affreuse, mauvaise couleur pour les rideaux. Le lit était très petit et bas pour un séjour de 2 personnes, l'organisation de la chambre est à revoir. La salle de bain est très petite. La porte pour rentrer dans la salle de bain, j'ai failli éclater de rire tellement c'était n'importe quoi. Les savons dans la salle de bains sont à revoir. Normalement dans un hôtel les savons sont placés dans la douche mais là ils auraient placés sur le lavabo.
