Castell Rose — Hotel in Prades

We booked a b&b room via Booking.com but due to some people who wanted to stay an extra night, we were given a gîte 50 m away from the main house.|I was somehow disappointed as I wanted to be in the main building that looked amazing.|It would have been nice if the owner would have had contacted us prior our arrival to explain the situation. We only found out on our arrival.|The gîte was super clean and we had a relaxing time. Spent 3 days at Castell Rose before going to Collioure.||We had such a great stay. House is lovely, very clean, very quiet and spacious, like the room, with an incredible view on "Le Canigou" massif from the terrasse or balcony. Perfect staging for a romantic stay! Evelyne was very nice and helpful with great recommendations for dinner. The house is only 10min. walking from Prades center, a nice town not too touristic but with some charm and peacefulness. Great destination. Can't wait to go back one day even if far from home...
