Vietnam — Restaurant in Prades

We have eaten here several times in the past. We do not eat meat but have found enough, though small choice of fish dishes. However, we walked out last time, with the same experience as Mayte (see her review, eight months ago). We were there with a vegan friend. When she asked for a vegetable dish, which was shown on the menu card, the owner was most unhelpful and said they could be served only with the meat or fish dishes. She speaks good French so there was no misunderstanding.The owner just shrugged his shoulders and showed no concern, although there were only two other people in at the time, he seemed unconcerned about losing trade and future custom; we probably...

Louis is running a wonderful low key place here. Think it's just him and the kitchen magician and what they achieve is addictive. Everything is fresh and delicious,as much as we've tried to try other dishes,some are just too perfect. Whenever we're in town,we dine in at least twice. It is cash only,but hey,let's keep the retro old school...

La comida estaba hecha pero si no la hubieran hecho hubiera tenido el mismo sabor, es decir, ninguno. Los fideos con verduras insípidos y bañados en aceite. El arroz cantonés era un arroz tres delicias que estaba acartronado en el plato. Por suerte, teníamos unos palillos para poder pescar la ternera con bambú entre la balsa de aceite. Un restaurante que, sin lugar a duda, apuesta por la reutilitzación, el agua nos la sirvieron en una botella de vino. El trato del personal es mejorable, si unos clientes te piden un par de platos para compartir la comida lo mínimo que se puede hacer es ofrecerselos, no negarselos y reírse como si de una broma se tratara. Por si no era suficiente, aunque no he mencionado que la climatitzación era una nula y dificultaba la respiración en el local, NOS INTENARON COBRAR 10€ DE MÁS.
