Our stay during the Olympic Games in Paris was excellent. Since we had a busy schedule, we didn’t use all the amenities in the campsite, but we noticed that there were plenty of activities on offer. We really appreciated how clean and safe everything was. The cabin by the Seine was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were no issues with hot water. Bed linens and towels were replaced promptly upon request. We did struggle a bit with the quality of the WiFi, but I believe it was due to the overload from everyone watching the sporting events online. Despite that, we give this place five stars! However, the only problematic aspect was the limited number of washing machines for the guests. There were only three (albeit high-quality) washing machines for the entire campsite and just one dryer. I think the campsite could really use three times that amount, and I’m sure there is enough space to accommodate them. If there were more washing machines, I wouldn’t have found myself in an unpleasant situation: an older Dutch lady was patiently waiting on the couch in the laundry room for a machine to become available. When one finally did, and she was about to use it, a very arrogant blonde woman rushed in and started throwing her laundry into the machine. The Dutch lady politely asked her to wait, explaining that there was a queue and she was next. However, the blonde woman rudely dismissed her and occupied the machine herself before stepping outside to smoke. The Dutch lady was so upset that she began crying, and another German woman had to comfort her. I understand that you cannot control the behavior of your guests, but unfortunately, we later discovered that this rude blonde woman, who mistreated paying guests, wasn’t even a guest herself—she was an employee of the campsite. That evening, we had planned to go to the campsite’s restaurant, but to our shock, we found that this same arrogant, rude woman (middle-aged, shorter, with short blonde hair) was working in the restaurant. We decided to change our plans and went to Santa Monica Pizzeria in Maisons-Laffitte instead. I believe that having staff members who mistreat guests is not a good idea, and this behavior should be addressed.

AWFUL! AVOID! PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW I am writing on behalf of my family to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at Camping Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte. I would like to bring to your attention several concerning issues we encountered. These are listed below and evidenced in the attached photos: 1. The step onto the deck was poorly repaired and posed a significant safety hazard. 2. There was rot underneath the entrance to the van, which was became a Trip hazard and posed a notable risk to safety. This resulted in the vinyl floor covering being tearing. 3. The toilet was not properly fixed to the floor, causing it to be unstable and dangerous to use. 4. The kitchen utensils and equipment were in a deplorable state, covered in black mold and remnants of food. 5. The floor of the van was dirty and had clearly not been cleaned prior to our arrival. 6. The bedsheets, which we had paid extra for, were stained and required immediate replacement. 7. The duvets were soiled, adding to our discomfort. 8. It was evident that there had been no quality assurance check by the management, as the overall condition of the van was inadequate. Upon raising these issues with the staff on the evening of our arrival, we were initially met with the response that it was "not possible" to address or rectify any of our concerns. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Further compounding our frustration, when we approached reception and requested to speak to the manager, we were met with dismissiveness, disorganization, and extreme rudeness. The staff exhibited a total lack of accountability and customer care. We were required to wait for two hours before being informed by a staff member that there was no manager present. To our astonishment, this same staff member turned out to be the manager the following morning. In summary, our holiday has been ruined through the substandard accommodation and service we received.

Stayed in the offseason, september, with tent. The main reason for this campsite was the location. About a 15 minute walk (slightly uphill) will get you to the station where you can take the train into the city center. Very convenient for sight seeing. A round trip is about 9 euros and can be paid in the machine at the station. If you want to take the scenic walk to the station, make sure to go via the park, it's really pretty. :) Reception spoke multiple languages, check-in went smoothly. Ate in the restaurant the first night but wouldn't recommend, expensive and not the best food. Also ordered bread from the shop for the first morning, was the worst baguette and chocolate breads I've had while in France. The campsite itself had a swimming pool, swim shorts are not allowed. Heard some people mention the water was freezing cold. Water in the sanitairy building at the pitches was always (freezing) cold. Did the dishes cold, showering cold. Cold cold cold, made me really cranky because the weather wasn't too warm either. Found out later (too late) that the sanitairy building next to the shop did have warm water. Sanitary building is always being cleaned. Nice, but also a bit annoying because one of the things is always closed off. Slamming doors and such due to cleaning. Because of it's location the campsite is quite noisy. Every few minutes (10/20) you can hear the trains go by over the bridge, planes are flying quite low, ships go past the Seine. On the first night there was a party nearby which made a lot of music noise until about midnight. There was also a streetlight right next to our camp pitch which caused us to be sleeping in a brightly lit up tent. All in all, good for the location, they know this so that's why the price is high. Would probably only visit again with ear plugs and sleep mask and for just one night to see the sights in Paris.

We stayed for 7 nights in August 2024 as a family of 4 and had the most incredible holiday. We could have stayed longer. We stayed in one of the treehouses, and it was a fantastic experience for us as well as the children. |The accommodation had everything we needed and we found it handy that you can park next to your accommodation.|The site was kept clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. The reception staff were helpful. They regularly had ques and remained professional and smiling. We found the park to be relaxing and quiet. We did not have any issues with loud noise. We needed an iron during our stay which was no problem at all, we borrowed from reception, leaving and ID whilst we had the iron.|Bike Hire - we were planning to hire bikes and have a day out however there was a limited amount of bikes and a few were in need of repair which limited the amount further so we were not able to get 4 bikes in working order at the same time so instead we hired a bike for my youngest which still needed some repairs but it was usable, he had a day on the bike and we walked. I'm sure sandaya will have the bikes back in working order before long. It didn't spoil anything for us. We just changed our plans slightly. We found the bike hire prices were reasonable. |Go Karts - these were priced reasonable to hire. Both the children hired these and enjoyed riding around the park.|Table tennis- there are many table tennis areas around the park however they had ran out of balls and did not have any available to use during our stay however you could purchase them from the shop on site but we didn't do this. We would plan to bring our own if we returned for another holiday. Again, this didn't spoil our holiday. We just did something else instead, and we understand it is a busy time to visit, I'm sure they will re stock soon. It was easy to collect badminton rackets, footballs etc, you just needed to leave an ID at reception whilst you used them. |We enjoyed the tennis courts and bike areas next to the park. |Swimming pool and splash area - lovely little area, we all enjoyed an afternoon or 2 relaxing here. The jacuzzi is from 10 years up, so my youngest only had the option of the main swimming pool, which he was happy with, along with playing in the splash area. You do have to wear speedo type, tight fitting swimwear as they were asking people to come out of the pool if they did not have the correct swimwear on.|We had linen and towels included when we arrived it was in our accommodation ready for us to make our own beds up, this wasn't an issue, I have just mentioned it so others are aware that this is how it works. You also receive contact around 10 days before your stay to organise a secure deposit which is not taken from your bank account the bank details are just held and if your accommodation is left clean and tidy and nothing broken you do not pay anything. |Location - you can walk out of the site and into the local town of maisons lafitte with restaurants, cafes and beautiful patisseries which we enjoyed sampling a cake daily and pick up our Baguette in readiness for the next day. There is a local market on a Saturday and Wed at 8am - 1 pm, mostly foods 😋 but some little jewellery stalls too. It was lovely to look around and sample some delicious food products. You will find the local market just a short walk from the train station.|Train station - this is about a 10 minute walk from the park. Easy to find, we used the train service a few times during our stay. We found the best value for money was to get the book of 10 tickets, which was 48 euros for adults and 24 euros for children up to 9 years old. You only use 1 ticket per journey, it is valid tor 1 hour 30 min. We visited different areas of Paris using the rail service. |Supermarkets - there is a large carrefour approximately 10 minutes drive from the site. There is also a small aldi and a French supermarket right next to aldi, just a short drive out of the park, too. There is a local shop on site which sells patisseries, baguettes, etc, plus your usual local shop products. They are more pricey, but the option is there. |Tip - bring mosquito repellent, plug ins etc with you. As the mosquitos seemed to love us and the plug-ins were expensive out there so if you can purchase before you come, this would be better. The mosquitos didn't ruin anything. It's just one of those things that can't be helped.|I'm sure they are already on the case. Sandaya to have a check of sport and activity equipment and replenish the stock and repair bikes to have sufficient stock available. The shuttlecocks for badminton need replacing, and table tennis balls need to be re stocked. I'm sure it is wear and tear of the season and confident this will all be up and running in readiness for the next season. |We would definitely return and definitely recommend. One of our best holidays we have...

My husband was running the Paris Marathon 2017 and we needed a base from which we could travel quickly a easily to and from Paris City centre. I found this little place on Trip advisor.

Camping International de Maisons Laffitte is run by Eurocamps and you can book them online. They have a variety of accommodation options available, which range from 1,2 3 and 4 bedroomed static Caravan type cabins, which have all the mod-cons, including wifi at a reasonably low price depending on your duration of stay for up to 3 devices but they can only be used one at a time. Some of the cabins have decks.

They also have tent pitches and Mobile home pitches where you can hook up your caravan or motorhome (campervan). As well as two adorable "tree houses" which I am told do not have running water. We stayed for four days in from Friday nite to Tuesday morning in what they call a Classic two bedroomed Cabin with 1 single and 1 bunkbed in the second bedroom and a double bed in the master bedroom. and a deck, it had 1 bathroom with a shower as well as a fully stocked kitchen, all you need to do it bring your food, which can be purchased from a supermarket about 15 minutes walk into town (beware the rather steep incline into town on Rue Johnson though, don't do that when you are in a hurry). Alternatively, you can eat from the restaurant, I am sorry that I can't vouch for the food as we preferred to cook all our own meals.

They do provide duvets and pillows but you have to bring your own sheets and and covers and towels.or if you are not fussy, hire theirs at a reasonable cost. All the information is on their website.

The staff are wonderful and friendly, especially our wonderful host Matthew, who kept in touch with us by sms when we got lost and took the wrong turn to Belgium, out of Calais and stayed up until midnight to help us settle in.

There is also free wifi by the reading room near the restaurant , which is quite popular with the children in the evening when the grownups are dinning, also a small play area and a shop, which I did find to be a lot dearer than the supermarket called Casino which is in town., and yes there is a lot of parking in town.

Oh and you do get to park one vehicle beside your Cabin, any extra have to be parked in the spaces near the office.

So why did I give it 4 and not 5 stars? Well the condensation, I have never seen anything like it, ever!, it was cold at night so all the windows were closed, but we did have them open during the day when we were in, but every morning there would be puddles of water on the floor near the walls, more on the external walls, I went to bed at around 1am on the first night and the floor was dry, and woke up around 8am and stepped into a puddle when I swung my feet out of bed, unpleasant and unexpected. The base of the closet in the single bedroom that sleeps three was the worst because we stowed the xtra bedding at the bottom of the closet and at the end of our stay, the bottom items were pouring with water, like someone had dumped a bucket there. So do be sure to take your damp traps with you if you chose to go there in early spring like we did.

Would we go again absolutely! Only this time with damp traps as well as a bathroom mat for the shower. I highly recommend it . Book well in advance on both the ferry and the cabins and grab your...
