Les Hauts de Domme - Chambres d'hôtes — Hotel in Sarlat-la-Canéda

Artfully decorated, this chambres d’ hotes, nestled on the hillside of Domme, offers views, tranquility, and warm hospitality. The hosts, Jean-Michel and Jean-Luc, are thoughtful, genuine, and attentive. Our room was spotless had every amenity (fridge, lots of hangers, luggage racks (2 of them!), comfortable seating, tea/coffee). Beds were comfortable with good quality linens. The views from bedroom and bathroom windows were to die for!!! Beautiful garden area with a pool & lots of outdoor seating. The hosts served us a lovely breakfast & offered lots of suggestions of sites to see in the area. Our one night here felt like a true retreat and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Definitely worth a visit!. There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area....

5.0 …this is definitely too low rating. „Les Hauts de Domme” is a completely magical place, run with heart and soul and with great attention to every detail. A beautiful house, beautiful garden, fantastic pool. Beautifull views around, silence and singing birds on the morning. The Owners are incredibly nice, smiling and very helpful, and the joy is enhanced by the sweet dog Tobi. Sterile clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts. An excellent location to explore Domme and the entire Perigord region, although at „Les Hauts de Domme” it is so pleasant, that it feels a shame to leave this place even for a moment. I agree with the prior reviews...this is a slice of paradise in the high hill village of Domme. Jean Michel, Jean Luc, and Toby (the dog) welcome you like family. Gracious hosts, the rooms are spacious, breakfast nicely prepared each morning by Jean Michel was a delicious sit-down affair. Tastefully decorated with a touch of whimsy throughout...we lacked for nothing. They offered touring guidance as well as instructions to park our rental car. Located just outside the walls of Le Porte del Bos it can be a bit difficult to find. But once you arrive, you may never want to leave! Merci beaucoup to our hosts at this lovely...
