BE CAREFUL, Staff stole my apple keyboard + trackpad!

Bad things: . On the 26th of June (ROOM 215) around 7:30am. We forgot an Apple trackpad and a keyboard on the bed when we left. We only realised the next day when we opened our bag. We called them but they didn't find it. It's not a good feeling. Our assumption is that one of the hotel staff was opportunistic and wrapped it up with bedsheets and kept it while doing the cleaning because it looks a bit fancy and they don't make much money.

There are no other possible explanations since we took the train and had our bags above us the whole time.

. Their coffees are pretty bad (not uncommon in France). Barely good enough to dip croissants into them.

. We had to fill some annoying forms to get an umbrella (instead of just asking for the room number).

. No water for 1-2 hours around the 25th of June - Things like this happen...

. Since there was no water, we came down to ask for drinkable water. Even though, they gave me a small bottle of water they were selling at the counter. It felt like they didn't really want to or that they didn't know if management would agree so my partner didn't feel comfortable asking for one.

Good things: . Nice rooms . Nice food for breakfasts . Nice lady dealing with breakfast . Nice...

I’m currently staying at Hôtel Origami and, overall, the experience has been very good. The hotel is modern, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The room is comfortable, well soundproofed, and decorated in a cozy minimalist style. The location is also excellent — the tram stops right outside and connects quickly to the train station and Strasbourg’s historic center. The staff has been very kind and helpful throughout the stay. I also want to highlight the breakfast buffet, which is varied and offers good-quality products. That said, there were three things worth mentioning: A €100 deposit was required at check-in, which may be important for future guests to be aware of. Toilet paper wasn’t restocked and I had to call reception to get a new roll. At times, we noticed a bad smell in the bathroom, likely coming from the shower drain, even though the space was impeccably clean. Despite these small issues, my stay has been very pleasant. I especially value the comfort, the quietness for resting, and the friendliness of the staff. It’s a hotel I would recommend — good value for money, with just a few minor details that could...

Hotel business is all about Customer Service, right? ... I had the WORST Customer Service experience of my life in this hotel. The manager came to my table, in front of other guests and in front of my son, just to say out loud that I couldn't put 2 machine coffees on my tumblr (as I was a robber or something), she said that the breakfast buffet (13.50 euros) was only for eating on site, and not to be taken away. She was right in the concept and the bureaucracy, but she could have handled the situation discreetly and elegantly, without exposing me. I felt SO embarrassed that I even asked to pay for the two coffees, 4 euros. There were 2 free coffees available for me in my room that I did not consume... But I had to pay for these two in the buffet. I sent an email reporting the case to the hotel, which was condescending to me, agreed with the manager's way of acting and even tried, once more, to teach me that the buffet cannot be taken from the hotel. I do not eat Carbohydrates so I barely eaten anything from the buffet... and was harrassed for 2 extra machine coffees. Never Again...

Stayed here 3 nights. -Location: Approximately 10 minutes from city center with public transport. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from nearest tram station. So let’s say the hotel is not in center but location is not bad if you consider Strasbourg is indeed a small city. -Room: I cannot complain as I paid around 70 euro for a twin room, but I can undoubtedly say that room was so clean, I even checked the sheets and nothing dirty was there. There was no minibar and there was not any complimentary water or drink but they put some instant coffee and tea with a kettle. The lightning was pretty cool that you can even turn off all the lights without getting up from the bed with a button located next to the bed. Also big downside is there was not a wardrobe in the room itself. Therefore, you cannot put your stuff anywhere. Overall, big thanks to staff at the reception, they were really helpful and very understanding.

Nice hotel, very modern, clean, with excellent and polite staff. The size of the room was good, has daily cleaning, with very good service. Breakfast was good but I find it a bit expensive. Has free parking around the hotel area and inside the hotel but for a fee. Very close there is a tram stop that the line takes you into the city in about 10 minutes. The walking distance to the city center is about 35-40 minutes. It doesn't have good insulation and so you can hear noise from common areas and from outside (tram noise) Also without telling you before you make the reservation (we found out when we arrived at the hotel) they keep an amount from your card as a deposit for any damages you may do. They return this amount to you when you leave and while of course everything is fine with what is possible (as is done with car rental) only it isn't written somewhere.
