Chambres d'Oriane — Hotel in Torcy

We have just returned from the most wonderful short break at Les Chambre d’Oriane. The house was absolutely immaculate, not a spec out of place both inside and out. When we arrived, we were greeted by Francis & Monique, who gave us a tour of the house and explained how the local transport links worked and their recommendations of places to visit. The garden was beautiful and had plenty of room for kids to play. ||||We stayed in the double room, which was beautifully decorated and again, immaculate. Plenty big enough for two people. The decor was modern and suited the house perfectly. There were two other rooms for families and a summerhouse in the garden that can easily accommodate a family (we managed to see the summerhouse before we left and it was absolutely lovely) ||||The dining space at Les Chambres d’Oriane was spacious and easily housed both us and the two other families residing in the property. Breakfast was beyond any expectations that we had and we were blown away by the generosity shown; from Francis collecting fresh goods each morning from the bakers, to picking fresh fruit out of the garden. Nothing was too much of an ask. ||||Francis and Monique were the perfect hosts - they were so friendly and made us feel at home the second we walked through the door. We didn’t have any children with us, but the other families did and both Francis and Monique were fantastic with them - we would definitely bring younger members of the family with us in the future. ||||I would highly recommend this place to anybody considering visiting Paris or the Disneyland sites - a quick 10 minute bus ride (schedule provided by hosts) gets you in to Disneyland and a further 35 minute train takes you right into the centre of Paris. Die Bezeichnung „Guesthouse“ bzw. B+B ist bei Francis und Monique mit Ihrem „Les Chambres D'oriane“ eigentlich nicht der richtige Begriff. Wir wurden  dort, von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute, so freundlich und zuvorkommend  behandelt, dass man hier schon fast das Gefühl hat, zur „la famille“ zu gehören und wurden nicht nur einer Zimmernummer zugeordnet. Die beiden sind wirklich ein Paradebeispiel für die französische Gastfreundschaft.

Zum „Les Chambres D'oriane“ gibt es eigentlich nur eines zu sagen. Das Haus ist sensationell. Oder einfach gesagt „Magnifique“. Alles ist neu bzw. top gepflegt. Der schöne, große Garten lädt zum Spielen für Kinder, oder einfach auch nur zum Entspannen ein. Es steht den allen Gästen eine (sehr moderne) Komplett ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche mit Sitzgelegenheit zur Verfügung. Hier fallen die vielen Extras wie z.b. kostenloser Kaffee (mit- bzw. ohne Koffein), mehrere Teesorten oder auch Wasser auf. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral, aber trotzdem in einer ruhigen Lage. Zum nächsten Großsupermarkt sind es ca. 5min zu Fuß. Dort sind auch ein gutes asiatisches Restaurant (Buffet) sowie eine SB-Tankstelle ansässig.

Für Familien, die das Disneyland besuchen wollen, ist diese Unterkunft aufgrund der Nähe dorthin natürlich sehr zu empfehlen. Aufgrund der relativ hohen Parkplatzgebühr im Disneyland (z.Z. 30€), sind wir morgens mit dem Bus dorthin gefahren. (2€ pro Person ca. 10min). Die Bushaltestelle ist dabei in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zurück dann mit dem Taxi (18€). Uber soll sogar noch günstiger sein.

Wir haben mit unseren beiden Kindern im 4-Bett Familienzimmer übernachtet. Dieses ist liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles Notwendige. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Auffällig sind auch hier so „Kleinigkeiten“ wie z.B. vorhandenes Duschgel/Shampoo sowie ein Haartrockner oder einfach auch nur eine Mehrfachsteckdose zum Aufladen der Handys. Im Sommer sorgt auch die selbstregelbare Klimaanlage für ein individuelles Raumklima. Das Bad verfügt über eine große Dusche. (flauschige Handtücher). Alles ist sehr sauber und wird liebevoll gepflegt.

Ein Highlight war ebenfalls das morgendliche Frühstück, welches in einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre serviert wurde.  Dabei gibt es alles, was das Herz begehrt: Baguettes bzw. Croissants/Schokocroissants, verschiedene Müslisorten mit kalter bzw. warmer Milch. Verschiedene Wurst-/Schinken-/Käsesorten, ‚wirklich“ frisches Obst, diverse Sorten leckerer Marmelade, Honig NUTELLA etc. etc. Empfehlenswert ist zweifellos auch der sehr leckere Kaffee. Das Frühstück kann je nach Wetterlage/Temperatur bzw. persönlichen Wunsch im Haus bzw. auf der Sonnenterasse eingenommen werden. Francis und Monique bemühen sich hierbei wirklich, um auch auf individuelle Wünsche Ihre Gäste einzugehen. Zusätzlich gab es, auf Wunsch, auch noch ein Lunchpaket für den Besuch im Disneyland.

Uns hat es im „Les Chambres D'oriane“ ausgesprochen gut gefallen und je mehr ich auch überlege, gibt es eigentlich nur einen „Kritikpunkt“ ... Nämlich das unser Kurzurlaub dort viel zu schnell vorbei ging 😉

Sollten wir noch einmal zum Disneyland bzw. nach Paris vereisen, steht unsere „Wunschunterkunft“ auf jeden Fall fest.

Non trovo parole adatte per descrivere questo bed & breakfast. I proprietari, Francois e Monique, sono due persone meravigliose, accoglienti, attente ad ogni piccolo particolare per far sentire gli ospiti a loro agio già dall'accoglienza. Ho trovato fantastico il fatto che ci sia la regola di lasciare le scarpe in un'apposita scarpiera in legno, fatta di singoli cassetti numerati. Questo fa sì che si acceda alle stanze con i calzini e posso garantire che sul pavimento ci si potrebbe addirittura mangiare per quanto è pulito. Ogni ambiente è pulitissimo e le stanze sono incantevoli, romantiche, curate nei minimi particolari. I proprietari hanno viaggiato molto e ci sono mobili, oggetti, opere d'arte unici. Una bellissima collezione di presepi da tutto il mondo. Per non parlare dei quadri dipinti da Francois... La colazione ha tre diverse soluzioni, delle quali una è compresa nel prezzo ed è già ricca di tutto ciò che può servire. Ma io e mio figlio, che amiamo fare una colazione da "RE", abbiamo scelto la seconda soluzione... Che dire? Le marmellate fatte in casa da Monique sono a dir poco sublimi (delicatissima quella al rabarbaro, originale banana e kiwi, fantastica la fragola, etc.) Croissant sofficissimi, baguette croccanti e freschissime, latte, yogurt, succhi, acqua, caffè espresso, cereali, ananas fresca ogni giorno e sicuramente non riesco a ricordare tutto, perché e ricchissima... Una delizia e una coccola ogni mattina. Francois e Monique ci hanno supportato in ogni necessità e si sono resi disponibili affinché io e mio figlio potessimo godere ogni giorno di una vacanza di cui avevamo davvero bisogno, per ritrovare pace e serenità. La location è a due minuti dalla fermata dell'autobus e prendendo.il bus 2233 o 2223 si arriva in circa 15 minuti a Disneyland Paris o alla stazione dei treni, dove si può prendere la RER A per andare a Parigi che si raggiunge in circa un'oretta. Conviene fare la carta Navigo (ricaricabile che dura 10 anni) per i mezzi di trasporto che si vogliono prendere. È più conveniente se si devono usare spesso i mezzi di trasporto (bus, treni, etc.) altrimenti si può pagare direttamente sul bus 2,50 euro a corsa. Se dovessi tornare a Parigi, sceglierei di alloggiare qui, anche se non dovessi andare nuovamente a Disneyland.
