I’m writing following my recent visit to your restaurant. As an Indian guest, I was disappointed to notice a clear difference in how guests were treated. Non-Indian diners were welcomed with complimentary papad, salad, or a drink—while our table was not offered the same. At the end of the meal too, the farewell felt much warmer and more engaging toward foreign visitors.
This kind of uneven hospitality is disheartening—especially in an Indian restaurant, where one expects the warmth and inclusiveness that Indian culture and food embody. Unfortunately, I’ve observed similar behavior at other Indian restaurants across Europe (including in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, and Poland), and I sincerely hope yours will choose to lead by example.
Additionally, I wanted to raise a concern about the pricing and portions. We ordered two chicken curries, along with two garlic naans and two rotis. The total was quite expensive, especially considering how small the portions were. For the price, the quantity and value did not feel justified.
I’m sharing this feedback with the hope that it’s taken in the spirit intended—toward improving guest experience for everyone. I would truly love to return in the future, but only if we can expect equal treatment and...
Read moreI can only say that it was one of the best experiences I ever had in a Restaurant, indian or otherwise. The servers are quick, friendly and do their best to communicate clearly with foreign customers. We were given a free starter and also got a whole bottle of water to share between the two of us while waiting (we could also have had some kind of alcoholic drink). We came during the peak of business and had to wait some 20-30 minutes. But it was worth it! The dishes were tasty and well made. The Price is normal for France. The deco could be updated a little, but the food is way more important. You even get 10% off the price if you order to take-away. Summary: very good Restaurant, would...
Read moreI had dinner at Planète Indienne during a weekend trip to Montévrain, and I was genuinely impressed. The food was absolutely delicious — I tried the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan, and everything was full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
What made the experience even more special was getting to talk with the chef, Missoueurs Nadeem. He took the time to present his menu to us and shared his passion for Indian cuisine. You can tell he really cares about the quality and authenticity of every dish.
The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were kind and attentive, and the overall experience was excellent. I truly recommend this place — we’ll definitely be...
