JUNGLE LOVE LOVEROOM — Hotel in Torcy

Air bnb doesnt let you give long detailed responses so I put the main things on it and tried to remain positive and gave a 4 star rating on there but giving more depth on here means its probably more of a 3.

After 10 hours of travelling it was amazing to finally walk into a nice clean (minus the dead spider found under my pillow when going to bed) place with the cute themed decor. (FYI google maps shows the place as round the corner from where it actually is, we had a hard time finding it even though the next day realised the host had given us details through air bnb the 4G service around the area isnt good so didnt actually see this, so the place could do with a cute sign saying Jungle Love or something on the gate).

The surrounding area is nice, peaceful and friendly also the gate has a lock aswell as the front door to the place so felt safe.

Perfect alternative for a couple to a hotel room as has the same and more amenities, I like having a microwave and fridge to use.

First issue though was there's some kind of extractor fan (not the air conditioning this is seperate and was turned off) contantly going which is fine during the day but it stopped me sleeping the first night, I messaged the host to see if there was something could do but they didnt have any suggestions or really seem to care (even if they'd just said there was nothing they could do about it but didnt get a responce). Luckily I got used to it each night there. (Was there for 6 nights).

The second issue was the hob wasnt turning on/working. The host was quick to respond however unhelpful and again didnt seem to care much. So after trying a bunch of things we looked in the cupboard to find the fuse switches, one of them was down so switched it up and then the hob worked.

The jet bath Takes a while to fill up but a cool fun novelty to the air bnb.

The showers look great, although only one of them works properly.

Lovely private garden to sit in the sun and have a drink, although the table and chairs are very basic and not comfy to sit in for a long period.

The built in bluetooth speakers worked well and were a cool feature.

Good modern washing machine However there wasn't any laundry detergent/pods so we bought some basic powder to use then left it there for the next few people who stay 😊

Comfy bed although could do with a deeper fitted sheet as it kept coming off.

There's a cupboard but used for storing a vacuum and then a cupboard which is locked, would be good if that could be used as a mini wardrobe as theres no where to store/hang clothes so had to live out of our suitcases for the week. My other half thinks that this place is better suited for a 1 or 2 nights stay rather than a whole week.

The wifi worked most of the time, not at all on our last night and morning.

Location is great for Disney fans as the place is a 10 minute walk from a bus stop where you can get a direct 15 minute bus to Disneyland

Would stay again if it had some updates/minor adjustments and...

Super séjour ! Le logement est parfait pour un week-end en amoureux, très propre, cosy et décoré avec goût. L’emplacement est idéal, pas loin de Disney, ce qui est très pratique.
