Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience - No Cleaning, No Service, Not Suitable for Families
Review: I recently stayed at [ORBI CITY Hotel on the Sea ] orbi city A floor 46 with my family, and I must say that our was extremely disappointing. From the lack of cleaning to the absence of any service, our stay was far from satisfactory. I feel compelled to share our negative experience to warn others who may be considering this hotel.
First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was abysmal. Our room was dirty upon arrival, with dust and grime noticeable on various surfaces. The bathroom was particularly unhygienic, with stains and an unpleasant odor. We reached out to the staff several times to request cleaning, but our complaints were met with indifference and no action was taken. It was truly disheartening to see the neglect towards maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
Furthermore, the absence of proper service was a major letdown. The hotel staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful throughout our stay. Basic amenities such as fresh towels and toiletries were not replenished, despite repeated requests. The lack of attentiveness and responsiveness made us feel ignored and undervalued as guests.
As a family, we were especially disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel did not provide any family-friendly facilities or activities, which made it difficult to keep our children entertained. The lack of a suitable atmosphere for families greatly impacted our enjoyment and worsened the overall experience.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend [ORBI CITY Hotel on the Sea ] orbi city A floor 46] to anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay. My son stayed in the hotel for 5 night, with the hotel transfer from Batumi airport (20 EUR for 10 km) and five breakfasts prepaid (6 EUR / meal). We had issues with cleaning, safety, breakfast, elevators, hacked booking.com account to provide a positive hotel review.
• My son arrived after the check-in and with the expensive prepaid transfer from the hotel. However, the room was dirty with the curtains on the floor and bed cover on the balcony. • The room was cleaned once during 5 day period, on the next day of his stay, after the check-in. • There was some strange rubbish on the balcony, which had been never cleaned. • On the 1st day when my son was in the room two people entered the room using their key. The hotel explained it that another hotel guests were given the same key by mistake. • Next day, my son was served a photo of a breakfast. The breakfast hasn’t been served at all. The hotel refused to deliver the meal then. • The breakfast is very plain, consisting of a sausage, corn, a fruit, an egg; served from 8:20-9:40 after a very delicate knock. If you fail to open a door after a knock you will be left without a breakfast. It’s not hot. You can have a hot breakfast at ~3-10 EUR in a nearby café. • The elevators are busy with a waiting period of ~15-30 minutes • Two days after the reservation I found a positive review on my booking.com account, which I’ve never written. It may compromise safety of my booking.com account (do not keep cards details!!!) and evidence elevated rating of the property on booking.com On a positive side is that a room is spacy and has everything to live long-term: a washing machine, an oven (for those who prefer to cook and wash for themselves during holidays). Read moreWe were in the c block of orbi city, their service was horrible, we had to wait for 2 hours in the car beacuse they were telling us that we hadn’t made a reservation, after one hour they told us that in fact we did made it but they still weren’t letting us to go to our rooms because they didn’t have the rooms that we booked anymore and had to search for new ones. We had to wait out for two hours in the sun beacuse they didn’t have private parking, they lied in the infomation that they did, in fact they said in the information that they had pool too but then tehy told us they didn’t have it. Next worst thing was the elevator, beacuse of lots of people there always were problems going up and down, because it has like 53 floors and not enough elevators, in fact one of them broke down. But they should have been well aware of it and should have found a solution, beacuse they didn’t seem worried at all.The room was really good and organized, but me and my family had to stay in different floors because they didn’t write our reservation down and made problems. I do not recommend this hotel at all, the only thing good about it was rooms,air conditioners and view from balcony, and it was close to the see. It was not worth of 1200 gel for two days only at all. And because of how angry we were and asked for only one day and they sad 1100 gel beacuse there wouldn’t be percent discount anymore. I recommend you to go to hotels that have small amount of floors because the queue there for elevator waiting was torture. It is not worth of visiting batumi to go there believe me.
