GRAF kazbegi — Hotel in Stepantsminda

This review mainly refers to our room on the top floor! The other rooms perhaps deserve a better rating...

The furniture and all the amenities in this room are high-quality and very classy, ​​tasteful and stylish, but not very "functional". Everything is a bit uncomfortable and impractical! There are also no towel racks, no hooks, not even a toilet paper holder! Just to name a few examples... The bed in this room consists of a mattress (in a wooden frame) that just lies on the floor and is definitely too soft. Absolutely unsuitable for elderly people or people with back problems. There are also no usable seats, just "sacks" that serve merely as decoration. Here even putting on shoes is strenuous and uncomfortable! The entire "concept" in this room is not well thought out...

And in general there is no communication here (e.g., whether if the room needs to be cleaned or toilet paper is needed...etc.) The whole atmosphere here is rather cold and not very welcoming. We also found long black hair and false eyelashes on the sheets. Apparently, the bed linens weren't changed as they should be either. There was no room cleaning during our entire stay, and we had to get our own toilet paper when we happened upon cleaning staff in the hallway...

And what's more: Suddenly a 10-point review (without a comment) appears in my name on booking.com, which I never submitted! It's also suspicious that there are several reviews there without a comment. Something is definitely not...

I can't say how much i loved this place and it's people,,its a family owned villa style Hotel,,very considerate people very helpful from our arrival they helped us to our room, every day while staying there they asked us what time do we want out breakfast to be served and if we want anything specific for breakfast (the nicest thing ever in my opinion) plus what they served was more than enough and very delicious, and always asked if we needed anything for our room,,rooms are spacious very clean service is amazing ,design wise very homey and cozy rooms the upstairs rooms are in a different style more of a cottage style design, let alone the view from each room is breathtaking, they hooked us up with a driver to take us to all the surrounded areas no matter the trip length,,so ask them for a taxi or a driver to take you to tour the area there, and ask for Guga he speaks english and know alot about the areas ,,Tamra-Giorgy-Vito (Victor) and khatya, thank you for your hospitality and for the amazing stay you guys (and Kazbegi) were the highlight of our whole trip to Georgia,,I highly recommend this place for everyone who's...

Cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! It is so unique and luxurious - each room is different, but spacious and equipped with comfy beds, gorgeous bathrooms, and incredible views. The place is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the main parts of town. Natia was the star of our stay, helping to get us set up and checked in early after a long trip, providing laundry service, giving us tips for around town, and making sure we had a varied and very delicious breakfast each day to fuel us for our daily hikes around the beautiful Kazbegi. Would stay here over and over again - thanks so much for such a special experience for these first-time...
