From the moment of inquiry over what’s app via Instagram page to the end of the stay, Nika goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. His fluency in English is a rare find in Georgia, making communication effortless for international travelers. Nika's thoughtfulness extends to personalized assistance, including updates on weather conditions and road closures, ensuring a hassle-free journey. He is super quick to respond promptly over what’s app messages so you are always connected throughout your stay.

The highlight of our experience was Nika's generous gesture of coming personally to take us from Tbilisi to Kazbegi and back at a fraction of the usual cost. His punctuality, coupled with a warm welcome and a complimentary bottle of wine, set the tone for a memorable stay. Along the journey, Nika graciously stopped at popular points of interest, allowing us to savor the beauty of the region.

I was travelling alone with my 16yr old daughter and I must also mention that I left incredibly safe and happy throughout my journey and stay. 🤗

While cottages lack room service and dining options, Nika's hospitality compensates for any inconvenience. Guests can relish the opportunity to cook in the well-equipped kitchens or explore nearby walking distance restaurants, including an unexpected gem—an Indian restaurant just a short drive away.

Staying at “Kazbegi Story Cottages” was an absolute delight, combining the charm of the mountains with the comforts of modern design. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

The design of the cottages is stunning. The wooden interiors create a rustic yet elegant vibe, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings. The bathtub, set in front of a large window, offers a breathtaking view of the Kazbegi mountains. Soaking in the tub while gazing out at the serene landscape was a highlight of my stay. The gallery bedroom also provides a spectacular view, making waking up each morning a truly magical experience.

The views from Kazbegi Story Cottages are nothing short of spectacular. Whether you're enjoying a bath or relaxing in the bedroom, the panoramic views of the Kazbegi mountains are always in sight. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The large windows and thoughtful positioning of the rooms ensure that you can fully appreciate the beauty of the mountains from almost every corner of the cottage.

The guesthouse owner was incredibly helpful and attentive. Their commitment to excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. From providing local insights to ensuring all our needs were met, their hospitality was top-notch. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into making each guest's stay special.

Situated at the end of the village, Kazbegi Story Cottages offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Despite its secluded location, it’s the best B&B in the area. The serene environment adds to the charm, making it an ideal place to unwind and relax.

My stay at “Kazbegi Story Cottages” was filled with happy and loving emotions. The combination of stunning views, beautiful design, and exceptional service made it an unforgettable experience. Where should I even begin? Let me start with the house itself. I originally booked a 3-day, 2-night stay, and honestly, this villa has so many amazing highlights:

Super clean, including the bathroom — spotless! They provide both large and small towels, and even bathrobes. The view is simply unbeatable — with no obstructions at all. Since this villa is located at the very end, the front faces stunning mountain scenery and the Trinity Church, while the back overlooks snow-capped peaks. Every morning, I woke up in awe. The shower has great water pressure, it’s hot and super relaxing! There’s even a heater in the bathroom. Loads of blankets and several heaters around the house — we never had to worry about the cold. It’s incredibly cozy. There’s a bathtub with bubble bath provided. Soaking while gazing at the snowy mountains… can you imagine how dreamy that is? The kitchen is fully equipped — everything you need is there. And they even offer complimentary dry wine!

Unfortunately, due to heavy snowfall, the roads were closed and our 3-day, 2-night trip turned into 4 days and 3 nights. Niko, the host, was so kind and understanding. He gave us a discount (we heard that some big hotels actually charged more when guests had to extend due to the weather). He constantly kept us updated on road conditions, helped us find a taxi back to Tbilisi, and even drove us to a local market to get groceries. We were incredibly grateful. Without his help, the two of us — just girls from out of town — would have felt completely lost.

One more thing: please book the horseback riding experience through the host! I highly recommend the 2-hour ride. The views in the mountains are just breathtaking. The horses are gentle, and Nika (the horse tour guide) was incredibly patient and helpful — plus, he takes amazing photos too!
