My stay at Best View Kazbegi was unforgettable. First and foremost, the host deserves a special mention — even without speaking anything, she welcomed us with a warm, genuine smile. In a country where I’ve sometimes felt that majority people are rude ,her quiet kindness stood out like sunshine on a misty morning.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. But what truly delighted me was the bathroom! Bright, well-lit, and complete with all the essentials — shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer — everything I needed. Also the shower is very good. I love that the bathroom had sufficient lighting! So many hotels miss this simple detail, and I always wonder why bathrooms aren’t sparkling and luminous — after all, that’s where light matters the most.
The location is ideal, just a minute’s walk from the center. And the view… absolutely breathtaking. From the hotel, you’re treated to an uninterrupted, picture-perfect scene of Mount Kazbeg and the Gergeti Trinity Church. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause, breathe, and feel grateful to be alive.
There’s no lift, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. But they offer complimentary tea and coffee downstairs — a cozy touch that makes you feel right at home.
I truly loved this hotel. Simple, soulful, and full of heart — a hidden gem in...
Read moreFinally posting a review one year later, but this was the best hotel we ever stayed in. Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. View was stunning, as the name suggests. Rooms are beautiful and cosy and an adorable family of cats hang out here as well. Loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay at this hotel. Of our 23 day trip in Georgia, this was definitely the best stay and Kazbegi the best destination. Elsewhere in Georgia, people were generally quite cold and rude. It was antithetical to the beautiful country. Only in Kazbegi did we feel truly welcome. The village, the people and the mountains were amazing. As a side note, there is a bakery in the village which sells delicious fresh bread directly from the stone oven. The two guys who work there were really friendly and kind. Definitely...
Read moreI stayed at the Best View Kazbegi for two nights whilst visiting the beautiful town of Kazbegi. The hotel is newly built, and therefore felt slightly more luxurious than some of the other places I stayed at during my trip to Georgia.
My room had a magnificent, unobstructed view of Mount Kazbek, and the Gergeti Trinity Church. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the room had all the basic amenities to cater for a comfortable stay. An added bonus was that the floor I stayed on was empty and I therefore had the massive, shared balcony all to myself!
Just one, very small complaint is that my host didn't speak any English, which made communicating and asking questions impossible. A minor inconvenience considering the great value for money this...
