Mood Hotel Kazbegi — Hotel in Stepantsminda

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us!

The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes.

We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also.

The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee. Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM.

I definitely would stay at the Mood...

It was a wonderful experience to stay in Mood Hotel in Kazbegi. Very good mountains view from the terrace of our room. The lady at the reception was very helpful even she couldn't speak English but very good. We had dinner at the hotel which she cooked for us. Very nice boutique hotel. Macht von außen einen normalen Eindruck - bißchen zuviel Show mit Parkplatz Bügeln . Es gibt genügend Parkplätze vor dem Haus und die breite Straße entlang. Aber: unser 3,6 kg kleiner Hund war nicht erlaubt - wir haben das in ganz Georgien nicht erlebt, wir waren mit unserem Felix im Ambassadori am Goderdzi Pass , Ambassadori in Tblis, in beiden ohne Aufpreis - und im Makmani Boutique Hotel & Zorba&Bond zahlten wir 15$ extra (wegen eventueller aufwändigerer Reinigung) - das ist in ganz Europa so, dass manche Hotels zwischen 10-20$ für Endreinigung nehmen. Aber hier sagte die Inhaberin: Sorry, we also have 2 dogs at home - but our policy is: this is a pet free Hotel. Dass der Hund nur 3 kg wiegt war für sie unerheblich: Ah: Ambassadori nimmt nur Hunde bis 5 kg. So kann ich der Besitzerin nur wünschen, das die ganzen kleinen Kinder, die sie beherbergt, ihr nicht die Wände und Möbel voll bemalt und zerkratzt: unser Hündchen hatte das nie getan.
