Me and my two friends had some amazing days with Tamara and family at Green Sheep. She is an outstanding hostess, freshly homebaked amazing breakfasts and lunch packages. The sight is super beautiful with great design, both the hotel and the restaurant are so nicely rebuilt and the decorated with reusage and vintage in mind. Gives a really welcoming with nice colours, classy, rustique and sustainable impression. Tamara was really helpful in giving out of the ordinary sight and hike suggestions. We had also interesting and enlighting discussions e g about Georgian culture both locally and in general and Tamara speaks great English. As I love sheep we also had the opportunity to learn more about the traditional sheep herding and Tamara’s sister in law who also speaks good English told us interesting stories about the sheep life in the mountains. Rooms were quiet and nicely decorated, we had a terrace with a lovely view and good shower and well equipped bathroom. Only improvement, but may only be for us northeners who are used to soft beds, that the mattresses could be softer. Would love to come back, we travelled around and loved Georgia in general but our days with Tamara at Green Sheep were the best- great experience and a wonderful acquaintance. We wish you all the best and hope to meet...

The heating works perfectly but you cannot regulate it. Hence you may get too hot in the night. However, the hotel is completely understaffed. The receptionist works at the same time in the restaurant hence not always available. The rooms are cleaned only when you ask. The village has a limited number of restaurants and with the location (no public lighting on the streets) of the hotel you must use the hotel's restaurant. We spent in the hotel two nights and we had very unpleasant experience. We had to share a table with two couples first time, and the restaurant was fully booked at 7pm with excursions and local people. The restaurant staff made no effort to find a table for us later in the evening even though we mentioned that we were hotel guests. The told us we should look up another restaurant in the town. As the property is the most premium facility in the town, local rich business people keep coming and going with their cars which looked...
