WOODEN HOTEL KAZBEGI — Hotel in Stepantsminda

The hotel has a good location and offers great views of Gereti trinity church and Mount Kazbek. Room was clean and we really liked the bathroom. Our biggest complaint was the lack of AC and ventilation. It got so hot in the room during the night and even though we opened the door, it was hard to get the air in. It would have been easier with another window in the bathroom to get the air flowing. The hotel does not offer breakfast but it is close to Rooms hotel, which has breakfast buffet. Beautiful property with great views of the mountain. We got a very affordable rate for a mountain suite which was large and well-kept. The highlight is definitely the owner and his family and dog, who are all supportive and easily available for anything you need. The one star I’ve removed is for the rooms that get stuffy at night without an AC, even in the cold, as there is little circulation. In addition, breakfast will be great, although I understand the owner is constructing his kitchen there, and Rooms hotel is at walking distance. Only stayed overnight but enjoyed the service, communication with a owner a lot. I am dog lover person so had fun with their 9 month doggo as well. Wooden hotel has so much potential with the service like this and I really wish prosperity to them. Already planing another trip with my colleagues ☀️🤞

They have provided WIFI, towels, tea/coffee /sugar.
