Naturfreundehaus Hannover — Hotel in Hanover

Very quiet location in a park area (free parking available), surrounded by "Schrebergärten" (garden allotments). Still only about 10min walk to the next tram station. ||Room was efficient and with a good size bathroom with window, yeah! You can even regulate the heating in the rooms yourself. There was a good and sensible choice for breakfast; even vegan options, if you would need those. Everything was way beyond my expectations, I was positively surprised. It was also an opportunity to learn more about the history of the "Naturfreunde", a labour movement dating back to the late 19th century. If you do not mind putting on the beddings yourself, this house is only to recommend! ||||The only negative thing for people with sensitive hearing: You hear every sound from the people next door and...

Hannover was on our way between Amsterdam and Berlin and unfortunately, it was only a stop over for us, we had no time to go and visit the city...another time! Our stay at this hotel was good, we got good recommendations to go and eat in the evening, the room was nice (even though I thought I booked a double room but we got a twin room, does not really matter and as I booked several hotel the same day, I may I forgotten that this one was twin room...). Quiet hotel even though the breakfast room was filled with kids. Nice breakfast but very patchy internet connection and none at night. We will stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to...

we enjoyed our stay at naturfreundehaus. it was about a 30 minute walk out of the city centre, either along a busy road or through hannover's mid town woods. it was budget accommodation, so for the price we paid we were happy. the room was very simple but clean. best part about this hostel was that it is situated right on the edge of the woods. the breakfast was good, and the couple who own the place were welcoming and helpful. only downside was that there was no wifi - slighty frustrating as the hostel is a bit...
