This family owned hotel has all the usual high standard facilities but the 'icing on the cake' is that it also has its own traditional Gaststatte, serving excellent traditional and seasonal food. The staff in both are outstandingly attentive and helpful. Most speak English and Jonathon, the head waiter in the Gaststatte is South African born, so speaks perfect English. Nuremburg is only a few Kilometres away and the option of parking out of town and using the U Bahn is available. Having experienced this level of hospitality, should I return to Nuremburg, I would not consider any other place to stay...

The rooms are small but clean, comes with free internet, cable television and thereby ful fulls al one needs on business trip. The breakfast is good and has a wide variety of choices as you expect from a breakfast. On top, bacon and eggs are prepared at your demand. The host is also the cooking chef of the hotel's restaurant. My advise, go for the "Schäufele"; a local dish and a must-try when you are there. I promise you, it taste 10 times better than it looks....
Read moreDo not be fooled by the fact that it is 3 star. The rooms are lovely and warm as well as quiet. The shower works well which is a major requirement for any stay. The beds are comfortable and the external shutter keeps all the light out.|Breakfast is a typical buffet affair with eggs cooked to order and pots of warm drinks.|The restaurant on site is a separate building and you can get a very good dinner at a reasonable price. They have an English menu and some of the waitresses also speak very good...
