After booking to stay in an apartment that turned out to be awful we decided to stay here to get a good night's sleep. We got that and more. ||||We ended up booking on the spur of the moment and the staff were brilliant and so friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and we both slept very well. ||||We didn't even get to see all the facilities but what we saw looked fantastic.||||The location was great, only a few minutes to the main high street, restaurants, supermarket and bakeries. Read moreI took my Eccles Community Choir for the second time to our twin town. (Salford/Luenen - partnered for 50 years.) We couldn't have found a better hotel or situation. Great well-appointed rooms, fantastic swimming pool & spa, delicious food at dinner & breakfast (choice mind-boggling.) Staff the most helpful and courteous I've met - nothing too much trouble. Lovely grounds; river walks and pitch & put 100 mtrs away; town centre 500 mtrs. This area of Germany is less known but packed with interest. DO visit and stay here if you can. Read moreWe decided to visit this hotels only 2 days on beforehand. It was a pleasant surprise. Hotel looks a bit outdated from the outside but inside it was nice, cosy and updated at most places. Our comfort room (for 3) was just big enough. Just later we mentioned different types of great rooms. |Wifi is okay just like the exterior of the hotel overlooking a park.
