Hotel Miano — Hotel in Munich

This hotel was about 12 min from train station taking S-Bahn to Pasing and from there it is short walk to hotel. The hotel location itself is not next to main Munich center but is feasible to take S-bahn to other locations. This hotel was very peaceful in the lobby, the hotel staff were nice, it had poor wifi, the room itself was average and mostly quiet. The food options are near the hotel so the breakfast is either croissant and coffee in lobby or downstairs next to grocery store is a bakery which has full menu on table to which hotel refers to on website. You can get the food to go, but it wasn’t obvious since we were looking for the ‘box’ like picture and wasn’t listed on board menu. Ask the lobby for the breakfast discount voucher card. The extended breakfast option is a restaurant right next to hotel in separate building which was very good and there’s a nice Italian/pizza place. Stayed 8 nights at this place. Convenient location, one block from the Munich - Pasing train station (ICE trains stop there). Can wheel suitcases from station to hotel reception easily. Staff are incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful, particularly Erika and Christos. They speak multiple languages fluently, will customize your coffee (and evening bar drink) just the way you want it. Reception/bar is a great place to unwind/work as it has lots of windows overlooking Marienplatz. Can request rooms overlooking Marienplatz. I had a corner room on the west side and loved it as it had three large windows letting in lots of light. Bring your own conditioner and lotion - only gel and shampoo (good quality) are provided. 5 minutes walk from the Pasing S bahn station, which you can reach directly from the airport. Hotel reception is accessed via the lift, to reach other floors you need a room key/card. Reception is small and nearly doubles as the bar, check in was straight forward but no more. Numbers of the rooms are low down and are easily missable. The toilet is separate in the room, everything else is right in the bathroom ie basin, shower, bed. Hanging area (not a wardrobe) has 5 hangers, no draws just shelves for things. The shower was good and easy to use, either rainfall or handheld, nice smelling sower gel and liquid soap. Apart from that there was a bed and a stool with a very small writing area.
