Gästehaus Frauendorf — Hotel in Schönau am Königssee

The top floor of this ferienwohnung has a cozy living room with patio with a great view, fully equipped and functional kitchen and a rather comfortable bedroom. ||||Gerd and Hani are more than helpful. Before arrival, I emailed them to inquire the public transportation. They offered to pick us up from the train station and they did it with punctuality and big smile. They also dropped us off at the station on the check out date. They are flexible with early check-in and late check out too. Will definitely stay here again for my next Betchtesgaden visit.||||A big minus is the bus. The bus schedule and route can be confusing at times. And the Bus 842 & 843 don't run on an hourly basis. This was our third visit to spend Christmas and New Year in Schoenau at Frauendorf. |We can highly recommend this property. The hosts Hanni and Gert, go way out of their way, to make guests comfortable and offer any information including tours, restaurants, etc. The property is pristine and in walking distance to a restaurant, butcher shop and 2 bakeries. The bus stop is 5 min. away and provides free transportation to area attractions and even to Salzburg for a small fee. The apartments are renovated and are completely stocked with essentials for a comfortable stay. From the pickup from the train station to the drop off we had the perfect vacation.||There are 6 lovely, super clean fully equipped apartments with balconies and mountain views.
