I spent one night at Jesiw B's Little Palace. A small 4 room guesthouse on Accra's Ring Road just off the famous Nkrumah Circle. I was offered the Executive Suite, and my word, what a pleasant collection of spaces it is. I use the "collection" of spaces because the Suite is just that. The main door leads to a corridor and first off the corridor is the spacious air-conditioned bedroom. A large King bed dominates but other furniture includes a workstation, and a fridge. The internal windows just above the headboard opens out to the separate lounge. Access to the lounge is through the second door off the corridor. The cozy lounge then has access to a private balcony that overlooks the ring road. ||||Jesiwa B's has a nice outdoor terrace, and a small indoor breakfast room. ||||Biggest benefit for me was it's proximity to town, and the incredible value. $75 for all that space, in the heart of Accra is truly exceptional value for Accra. ||||Staff were attentive, Breakfast was okay, not great. No fruit, but I suppose I could just go downstairs and buy some, considering my overall savings for comparable accommodation in downtown Accra.||||Will...
Read moreJesiwa B's has quickly become my favourite choice of transit accommodation in Accra. I've stayed there as a solo traveller on three different occasions so far during May and June of 2019, and each visit has been an absolute pleasure. || ||The hotel had well maintained facilities including clean and nicely furnished rooms (yet only 4 in total) and was serviced by friendly and attentive staff. Furthermore, the small size of this place helped create a calm, cozy, and homely indoors atmosphere that stood in contrast to the busy central ring road outside. My rests here were much more peaceful than I had expected prior to my first visit.||||Multiple food options were also available at restaurants next door, and I found that the short distances to the nearby VIP and STC bus stations made Jesiwa B's a very convenient stop-over in Accra for me as a traveller moving to and from other...
Read moreJesiwa B's Little Palace's niche is the friendliness of the staff. You get off after a flight and what you need most is the warmth of the family you have left behind. The staff give you exactly that. To think I have met a few staff who are new since I started staying at Jesiwa B's Little Palace(some 7 years back) and yet get the same warmth and friendliness is a BIG credit to the Owner and Management! My kindest regards to an 'Uncle' who has been a 'Constant-K' all these years I go to my 'Home-away -from Home' at Jesiwa B's Little Palace.||The staff know the needs of their guests-a cold beer for me on arrival;a hot pot of water for the several cups of tea-my morning ritual(other guests request an English Breakfast.) They will tell me which restaurant is trending in the area later on in the day. A clean room as I get back from my day's activities and smiles all over...
