Paloma Restaurant — Restaurant in Accra

My first time at the restaurant and it was a disappointing experience! Wanting a little dessert with coffee, I was told that my selected items were not available and that I could order the fruit salad! So I decided on the spicy wing appetizer and a pineapple juice.

The Juice was quite nice.

The first time the appetizer came to my table, some of the seven pieces (the menu states a 10 piece app with dip. No dip, twice!) were half chard and after speaking with the server, another was prepared. The second batch was less chard. The bite size wings didn't seem terribly fresh/made-to-order which is unsatisfactory considering the price!

Service is great and professional. Waiters are swift in delivery and appear clean and ready to serve. I would have rated it 5 stars if the parking space was bigger and alternative arrangements made for the excess. I recommend the special Jollof for lunch and wash it off with a chilled bottle of Blue Skies!! The general vibe is good and recommended for large group dinners. The food was good for the price I paid but I think they could reduce the amount of oil they used on my goat stew that I had with the fried rice. Another nice touch would be to cut the meat into bite sizes so that I don't loose some of it on the bones. If I had been offered water to wash my hands I would have attempted to chew the meat from the bone but with the normal cutlery I had...
