Palm Moments — Restaurant in Accra

I am hoping this experience is a one off. Because I used to really enjoy this place. But the layers of disappointment have to be shared. We arrived an hour and a half before closing. The kitchen has few things available, our server had to keep going back and forth to confirm what was and wasn't there. There were only two other people there who have already settled into their seat. We waited over an hour before we complained and were told a take out order was made before us so we had to wait. We sat there waiting till one minute before they closed before one of us got our meal. The food was hard and not well made. They immediately took it back and we waited another 20 mins without any feedback from our server when we finally decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Technically they had been closed for over half an hour and I had yet to even see what my food looked like. There was no apology, nothing offered to ease our hunger and wasted time. No communication. Experienced one of the best serene eating spaces in Accra. Greenery, art pieces and an affordable price menu list. Palm moments gives you this relaxing environment to appreciate life and reflect.

The food is okay at best not mind blowing in taste however the price and portion is considerate. The drinks are amazing, served in nice glass bottles with paper straws— a plus to contributing to less plastics and more plants 🪴. The space is also small especially on an event day(experienced Ria Boss perform 🔥). You would need to adjust with ordering times and space limitations. Open area outside is also a smoking area which can be inconvenient due to the small space mentioned earlier.

Palm Moment Asylum Down branch is one of the most welcoming space first and foremost, the minimal exteriors and interior alone gives you a calm and relaxing vibe immediately you get there. One thing about the space is that you can easily pick a space of your comfort because of the different types of seatings. And hey it’s work space friendly! Waiters are very welcoming , food is great and affordable. You have the option to put together a great meal because of how the menu is made or request for a daily menu of the day!
