Golden Crystal Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

I like local hotels. I loved this one. The staff was friendly and helpful. Taught me how to use mobile money. Accommodated my requests. My flight was delayed and I had to rebook a more expensive room for one night. Some of their rooms are Nice!!!! They have a room for every need and budget. They had a mix of local and tourist guests. I ate at the restaurant often. The local salted fish dish was chefs kids soo good. I didn't use the pool or the gym or book any spa services. There was a problem with my TV and water heater. They attempted to fix timely. I never really figured out the water heater and I didn't use the TV. Would love if there was an elevator. My 1st room was on the 3rd floor and my tour guide wore me out most days with hiking and climbing, those stairs were not a welcome sight at the end of a long day. Met with a lady called Mary, she was very rude…..i asked for my room to be changed because I didn't want to sleep in that dirty room….i was willing to pay for the difference and the girl kept saying it can't be done because there is no cleaner on site to clean my current room, I told her I haven't done anything in the room, it is still the same way I took it, she was still adamant and acted rude, I requested to speak to the manager and she hanged up on me….Dorothy the other customer service rep was extremely helpful…..sorry I have to give this long review I was extremely...

Stayed for 5 nites. The staff were very good and courteous. Didn't have breakfast here. But the restaurant area was great too. My issues are with the room. The mini split in our room didn't work correctly all the time. And the on demand water heater in our "Executive Suite" would not power on. So cold showers were the norm. If these concerns are fixed. I might consider staying here...
