Marias Garden Apartments — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

The location listed on Expedia was totally wrong, and unfortunately Maria doesn’t offer cancellations or refunds, so we were stuck in a location we didn’t want to stay. The shower was so small it was impossible not to flood the whole bathroom. Check-in was also really confusing no reception and no clear instructions beforehand. Lassi and Argostoli were much further away than expected, and the walk was long and steep which we did not anticipate as we were expecting a different location. Good luck with getting a taxi here as well the directions on google maps leave you to a dead end, we were lucky to have a patient taxi driver but was an absolute nightmare even dining the accommodation. Good location in Lassi, nice pool and view… but other than that, I do not recommend. When I arrived on the first day after a long day of traveling (it was 9:30pm), I showed up to find no reception or any person working on the property… I checked my emails to see if I’d received instructions. Nothing. I tried calling and nothing was going through. Luckily there was a couple that had a different number and called for me… if it wasn’t for them, I would have been stuck with no accomodation. So be aware if you book, make sure to contact them in advance to know how to check in. Also, the room is very basic. Even though the information on Expedia about the location is wrong (hopefully it has since been rectified); Maria does not do cancellation or refund.
