Can't speak for breakfast and snacks but the ice cream portion size for the price is just a rip-off. €3 a scoop and the scoops we were served were barely a teaspoon size, certainly not what others serve. The two staff on duty over lunchtime on Sunday 15th September seemingly have no concerns at all about this and just shrugged. Won't go back even though it's a few yards from our accommodation.
REPLY TO OWNER: I'm very appreciative of you responding. Thank you. Obviously, I've no idea if you were present at the time my wife and I were but it wasn't the price in itself that is the issue, it is the ridiculously small "scoop" size we were served. It was just so tiny, barely even worth one little turn off the "scoop". The scoop itself seems of a reasonable size so perhaps the female person that served us was reluctant to use it to its full capacity for all four of the "scoops". No matter, we were served amazingly small amounts for the price. That is a fact.
2nd REPLY TO OWNER Thanks again for taking the time to respond. We've visited other ice cream locations on the island. We're fully aware of portions and sizes. That's why the ones served to us were so small compared to others; otherwise why would this issue be raised at all by me? I'm not concerned about the price as you seem to think but what we got for it. It was tiny, small, infinitesimal, minute....
Read moreWe ate here last night as we had seen reviews saying how great the food was. The food wasn't great. My Husband ordered the classic burger ( for some reason they thought he'd said classic beer) I ordered and actually pointed to the chicken gyros portion. When my food arrived wrapped up and greasy I was shocked at €9.50 I was expecting chicken and salad on a plate. What I had which I found out when we paid was that they had given me the wrapped chicken pitta which did indeed cost €4.50. However this wasn't what I asked for. . There was hardly any meat in it and it was dry. I had one bite and fed it to the cats down the road. My Husbands burger was served in a brioche bun that was very greasy. He tried the burger but he said it tasted of nothing so he left it. He never leaves food. They did ask if he wanted something else but to be honest there wasn't anything else he fancied and to be honest they should have reduced the bill in accordance . We decided just to write the whole thing off. On a plus point I will say that the pint of Mythos was absolutely fantastic but the service and quality of...

We arrived here on our first day at 11PM starving and gave it a try as it was the closest place to our hotel. I can honestly say having gyros and food anywhere else that week was a disappointment; the food here is fresh, authentic and absolutely beautiful, not to mention it's the cheapest place we've been on the entire island! - €5 for a gyro with meat and hullomi.
We've been back several times after our first day and enjoyed our food and desserts thoroughly each time. Crepes and Ice-cream are also top tier.
A hidden gem in...
