Marinos Apartments — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

We had been staying at these apartments for years but last time we visited there was a large group of people all related that literally took over the place. Distruption and noise at the pool, diving and so many inflatables no one else could move in there... rowdy in the bar... Made the lives of ourselves and some of the older guests who said they return most years, an utter misery. People were trying to hire cars to get away for some peace. Owners, who are lovely, did nothing to stop the disruptions but I think they are worried about business following lean times with Covid This rude, thoughtless group of people left thinking it was acceptable to behave behave as they did without being challenged so took great delight vocalising as they left that they would re book and tell other friends!?. This will drive away loyal customers if large groups are left to behave like this. For this reason we have now had to seek alternative accommodation when visiting this beautiful island. Recently we stayed 5 nights at Marinos Apartment and this was a great decision.

Location: The location is perfect, within 5-8 minutes by walk you are at Makris beach. You are located on the Main street were almost all restaurants of Lassi are around you, between 5-10 minutes you can reach almost all of them. You are 5-8 minutes away from Argostoli center by taxi. If you just like to spend some chilled evening close to your room, you can also sit at Marinos Bar for having some great cocktail and nice small talk.

Apartment: The apartment was very clean and well equipment with everything you need during your stay. Air Conditioner worked well and the bed were comfortable. WiFi was available and worked too.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Marinos Apartment and will stay there next time again.

My wife and I stayed for 10 days in this beautiful accommodation, very well located. 10 minutes from the Airport, across the road from a beach and countless restaurants are a short stroll away. Yannis and the staff have a smile at all times, willing to answer any questions and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and beaches. They also rent cars at competitive rates which we also took advantage of. They have a very nice uncrowded pool area. The cleaners do a fantastic job too, above and beyond.
