KYMA Apartments — Hotel in Athens

I cannot recommend KYMA apartments highly enough!

Myself and three friends were looking for a place to stay in Athens for the duration of our trip. While browsing the apartment listings and accommodation providers we couldn't help but feel a little bit nervous about being ripped off or ending up in a nasty place. I am very glad that we eventually found KYMA, who came through with a fantastic apartment at an unbeatable price.

We arrived to an immaculately clean apartment (KYMA 15), not only with a large balcony, but also a private roof terrace boasting a stunning view of the acropolis (see photos), Filopappou and Lycabettus. The place had recently been renovated with a pleasing taste in decor and furnishings. It was clear that KYMA had put a lot of effort into the upkeep and maintenance of the apartment, with particular attention to detail. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked with a few essentials such as teabags, coffee, salt and pepper, etc.

Our hosts (Manos and Kyriakos) were extremely friendly, polite, professional and helpful. At one point there was a minor issue with the water heater tank on the roof, but the hosts made sure it was sorted out immediately with absolutely no disruption to us.

We loved living in KYMA apartment no.1 . We stayed here for 10 days and it felt like a home away from home. Infact I was depressed when the holiday was over. They have housekeeping who comes around once in 3 days. Tram station that is literally 5 steps away. I’m not joking !! The TV is a smart one so you can watch YouTube! Every thing is here. Hot water, washing machine, microwave, hot plate ! Chopping boards, more than basic utensils and dishes and cutlery. I will miss it … getting to Athens is a tough task as no direct flight from Delhi ! Otherwise I would visit more often. Manos is a most gracious host !...
