I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. We sat down, waited, and no one brought us a menu. Eventually, we had to get up and grab it ourselves.

Then a staff member came to our table and spoke to us in an incredibly rude and impatient manner, as if we were bothering him just by being there. He answered our questions with visible annoyance and brought the food and water by practically slamming them on the table.

Even if the food is decent, service like this completely ruins the experience. Hospitality is about more than just food — it’s about treating people with respect. This restaurant failed at that on every level.

If I hadn’t been starving late at night, I would’ve walked out. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. A place with this kind of attitude doesn’t deserve the...

🇬🇧 oh Tomas! One of the best kebabs in Athens. And I've eaten in a lot of places, both Greek and Middle Eastern cuisines. I've been going there for more than 10 years. This is an Armenian cuisine and the food is just great. What I like especially about this kebab (I've tried other plates as well which were also very good) is that you are really tasting a tender, full of guices meat with only the essential ingredients!!!: the pita (which is exactly as it should be, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside), the kebab, tomatoes and onions with spices and paprika. I don't know what's his secret but the meat is just yummy! And the guices from whatever it is marinated in are all over the place (look at the photo and tell me I'm wrong!!! I dare you!) . That's why no french fries, no tzatziki or yogurt are needed. That's the right souvlaki, kebab, gyros: 3-4 ingredients and the meat being the king of the taste. Located 5' from the red metro line, region Neos Kosmos (walking distance from the Museum of Acropolis around 20-25' but don't attempt to walk during summer 😱). And value for money.....criminally undercharged (3€!!!!!!!!??????!!!!!! When most are selling 3,5 , 4€!) it's a small place so have that in mind if you're a big company.

🇬🇷 Ο αγαπημένος Τόμας Κεμπάπ! Ένα απο τα καλύτερα κεμπάπ της Αθήνας και έχω δοκιμάσει πολλά καλά,και σε κουζίνες Ελληνικές και Μέσης Ανατολής. Πηγαίνω εκεί τα τελευταία 10 χρόνια. Είναι Αρμένικης καταγωγής και ο,τι εχω δοκιμάσει στο μαγαζί ήταν πολύ καλό αλλά το κεμπάπ του είναι αγαπημένο μου. Αυτό που διαφέρει στα κεμπάπ του είναι πως έχει μόνο τα απαραίτητα υλικά και γεύεσαι το κρέας,τον βασιλιά. Και είναι ζουμερό (δείτε φωτό με τα ζουμιά στο χαρτί, εννοείται τα ρούφηξα!) . Μόνο 3-4 υλικά, όπως πρέπει να είναι το σουβλάκι, γύρος, κεμπάπ: πίτα κριτσανιστή απ'εξω, μέσα μαλακιά, ζουμερό κεμπάπ - το μυστικό του είναι μάλλον σε αυτό που το μαρινάρει....-, ντομάτες, κρεμμύδια. Τέλος, δεν θέλει άλλα. Ούτε τζατζίκια, ούτε γιαούρτια, ούτε πατάτες! Καταλαβαίνεις τί τρως και ο 'Τόμας κεμπαπ' σ'το προσφέρει πολύ νόστιμο. Βρίσκεται στον νέο κόσμο,5' από το μετρό, 20-25' από μουσείο Ακρόπολης. Τρομερό value for money επίσης γιατί ακόμη το έχει 3€!!! Είναι μικρό μαγαζί οπότε έχετέ το υπ'οψιν αν είστε μεγάλη παρέα. Tucked down the backstreets of Neos Kosmos was this kebab spot I'd seen on Googlemaps. Got in there first thing while the meat was still being moulded onto the skewers, but a small but familiar crowd started to turn up as I sat in the corner with my huge Armenian beer. Probably one of the best constructed kebabs I had in my time here, man working the grill was very friendly and helped me decide what to order, just by us both pointing and nodding at the English menu. I felt ready to take on one of Athens many hills after this, a clean affordable kebab that made me question why I bother with UK ones. Just not on...
