Blue Ark Lavish Sauna Suite — Hotel in Athens

The interior of this apartment was nice, which was the only positive. We almost did not get out of the car when we arrived at the apartment because the neighborhood was so seedy and uninviting to say the least. Barred windows and graffiti on the entirety of all buildings surrounding this place. There was a big metal door that we had extreme difficulty locking and unlocking. If we did not have two men with us, we would never have been able to get in and out. No response from the owner when we called about that. Blue Ark offered to arrange a tour for us through Athens. A driver came to pick our group of 6 up at 8:30 AM as arranged. First we picked up a woman introduced as our tour guide. We stopped for a few minutes for the changing of the guards at the Parliament building and then the driver took us to the foot of the Acropolis. There the tour guide said we had to go in on our own to get our tickets and then read the plaques as we walked through the Acropolis. She could not enter with us because she forgot her tour guide badge . We then proceeded to walk up the hill and stand on line in the heat for 35 minutes only to find out that entry to the Acropolis is time stamped. So instead of getting into the Acropolis at 9:30 the time that we were dropped off there, we had to call the driver back because our time of entry was not until 11:45 AM. These tickets could have been purchased online and any reputable tour guide would know that and also be aware that there are lines to get the tickets and entry times. When they returned to get us, we requested that we stop for a sandwich because now we were going to be out much longer than anticipated . This was scheduled to be a 4 hour tour and the cost for six of us was €290. By the time we sat in over an hour of traffic to get sandwiches we had to eat them in the car so that we could get back to the acropolis for our entry at 11:45 a.m. That ended our “tour”. The driver and tour guide refused to come back to pick us up after we went through the Acropolis on our own because the 4 hour tour time was going to expire at 12:30, before we were out of the Acropolis. We paid them €290 in cash and then had to pay €60 for two cabs back to the apartment. Both Blue Ark and the car service company Fidelis Executive Transfer adamantly refused to provide any compensation to our group for this One Way ride to...

Εξαιρετικό σπίτι! Από τις καλύτερες διαμονές μας στην Αθήνα έως τώρα. Ήταν όλα άψογα. Ένα παλιό αρχοντικό ανακαινισμένο! Είναι μοντέρνο διατηρώντας ταυτόχρονα την αίγλη και το στυλ του αρχοντικού. Πολύ μεγάλο σπίτι, με άνετους χώρους, προσεγμένη διακόσμηση, πολλές παροχές και με άριστα στην καθαριότητα. Η σάουνα κάνει τη διαφορά!! Αρχικά είχαμε κάποιους δισταγμούς για την περιοχή, αλλά τελικά δε μας δημιούργησε καθόλου θέμα ανασφάλειας. Υπάρχει κοντά ιδιωτικό parking και σούπερ μάρκετ.
