Lak Nirvanas Homes — Hotel in Athens

We stayed four nights in October at Lak Nirvanas Homes in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was very nice, clean, and large, with two large balconies with nice views and a large open kitchenette-dining-living area. The kitchen had a refrigerator, stove, coffee press, and basic cookware, dinnerware, and utensils (no microwave). There is an elevator, and a spiral staircase that can be a bit narrow and steep. The building and room felt safe and secure. The attached restaurant (Reception) was very good and served food and coffee all day, which can be delivered to the rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the location. It is not a bad area, but the hotel is surrounded by gas stations, car washes, and other automotive type businesses, and there is a lot of traffic noise day and night. There is a Lidl grocery store right down the street, and other stores and restaurants a short walk away, but I wouldn't call them super convenient. The nearest Metro stop is approximately a half mile away, but there are several bus routes that stop close by that can get you to the Metro or suburban railway...

This apartment Hotel was just what we needed to spend a week during Xmas/New Year in Athens. |The centre of the city Plaka, Acropolis etc was 20 min taxi ride costing 7 Euros. Close enough and just far enough from the busy Centre. Apartment was large and the staff were great. Встретили очень радушно и приветливо.||Сам номер чистый и светлый. У нас было 2 комнаты - спальня и зал с раскладывающимся диваном.||Зал это студия по сути. Очень большой балкон. В целом все хорошо.||Но им видно не хватает человека который бы обслуживал техническую часть номера.||Включил кндиционер - и водой из трубки заливает весь балкон, так как дренаж слишком далеко от трубки - мы подставляли ведро, которое за день набиралось полностью.||Дверца холодильника провисла и постоянно открывалась после закрытия.||Духовка есть, но готовили в ней мы наверное первые и второй раз и не решились бы, так как вытяжка не справляется, а нам надо было просто разогреть лазанью... задымили весь номер.||Роллет в одной из комнат сломан. На постельном были пятна. Уборка платная, ладно. Но куда можно самостоятельно вынести мусор непонятно.||Ведро есть, но нет никакой тряпки, чем протереть пол в случае необходимость непонятно... идти самостоятельно покупать тряпку для пола наверно.||Кондиционеры еле работали. Мы самостоятельно промыли фильтр с плотным слоем пыли и все заработало как нужно.||Вообщем, все это конечно мелочи, но их много.||К слову сказать ресепшн кафе выглядит вылизанно и идеально. Я думаю они и эти вопросы разрулили бы с номерами, но видно нет...
