Hotel Afroditi — Hotel in Dion - Olympos Municipality

We actually ended up at this overrated 4star property. We had originally booked Afrodite beach hotel however the owner somehow as per his his explanation to me was that we would appreciate the (pretentious bar the son owns across from the hotel with the built in pool and the aesthetics of the bar.Also the lie down furniture and umbrellas at the beach which their is a charge for guests of the hotel not alone the walk-in traffic. )Not sure how he assumed we were interested in all this from an online booking. Location is ok most properties are within walking distance to the beach. Room was adequate bed was comfortable as was the pillow. For a 4star property the furniture was below average needs upgrading. Bathroom had no mosquito net with broken window frame so adequate ventilation. The adjustable beauty mirror on the wall was still a fixed without the mirror being their and was totally filthy from finger marks. The bathroom needs upgrading also. On a Saturday night the whole room felt like we were inside the bar across the hotel and festivities which were meant to finish at 01:00 ended well after 02:00. In the morning I approached the owner and asked if had a good night sleep he started a spiel of his son allowing a Serbian wedding as a one off and as a gesture of goodwill he would take us to a seafood restaurant gratis. This never materialised!! At check out the son bid us a safe journey but we were never thanked for...

I recommend this hotel. We had a very nice holiday here. The rooms are like you see them on site,very clean,house keeping everyday, generous balcony with Sea side view,or Sea view,a/c sistem,wifi (is not that reliable but it's ok). Staff was very nice (loved them) and the owner's son thanked us for choosing them and gave us a free round of cocktails. Breakfast was usually ham, cheese,omelets,jam,milk and cereal etc,you know the usual. Dinner was served different(not a buffe), only one dish and some fruits at the end,but very tasty. Now the bar and beach bar. Man,some very nice cocktails there, served with free appetizers or a plate of food. If you like spending time at the bar I highly recommend. At lunch you can eat at the bar/terrace with good prices. The only downside being that they don't have gyro's or souvlaky. But Sea food pasta is the best. All and all I recommend this hotel,is a nice stay and the staff is great. Keep in mind it's a 3 star hotel not a 5 star so don't expect luxury in you room. Thank you for this relaxing...

It was the most dirty venue I’ve ever visited in the whole world, The sunneds were ripped, and the arm chair with the table were sticky, And covered in weird substitutes of many colors,even rubbish from previous tourist were left as a souvenir never mind Covid-19 sanitization. There was no rubbish bin , despite I’ve asked for one twice. Very ignored by the staff, who were wearing masks by choice. The VAT bill was wrong underestimated off course the land insisted for extra €0.50 , so tax fraud too! Not to mention the sand not visible from the cigarette buts and plastic straws and all shorts ..... Don’t risk it, stay healthy during the pandemic and any other illness they’ll...
