I read some great reviews which made me curious so we went there, me, my wife and little daughter (6 years old). It is a family business, we were greated by the the youngest son as waiter, who knows a lot of languages (apart from greek, I heard him in english, serbian, romanian, german and who knows? Only these we heard). Food was great, and as a particularity, they serve soups in the evening, while we never found soups at other taverns except this one. They have variations as soup of the day, so you need to ask. That evening they had fish, beef, chicken and beans soups. I tried a fish soup which was truly great and as main course, I ate lamb shank (they had also pork shank). Wife ate pork souflaki and our daughter spaghetti bolognese. All tasted excelent, you can see and feel the passion, the care for details. The entire owners family greeted us and saluted us when leaving, they are lovely and I trully recommend to visit El Greco if you visit Nei Pori. It's a valuable pearl. Remark, I gave only 4 stars for ambiance because the outside tables are too close and a lady from the next table was smoking and all the smoke came to me, and I am non-smoker. But that was an isolated case, you go there for food and that is excellent! They diserve 5* without hesitation. Bonus: They also offer accomodation, so a great place to also stay...
Read moreWe had the great pleasure of visiting El Greco restaurant in Nei Pori, and we can honestly say it's one of the best places we dined at during our stay in Greece.
The food was exceptionally delicious, prepared with fresh, local ingredients – you can really tell the chefs put their heart into every dish.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and peaceful – perfect for both a family lunch and a romantic dinner.
We highly recommend El Greco to anyone visiting Nei Pori who is looking for great food, fresh products, and true Greek hospitality. Warm greetings from Poland...
Read moreWe visited restaurant El Greco in august 2023. It is a nice looking restaurant. The staff was not polite, they give us to seat for one table and 10 minutes later they told us to change table because some other people arrives to have a dinner. The price of a dinner was diccent. Good restaurant but in my opinion must be with more...
