I have only left 1 other google review before but our stay at Almond House was so incredible I feel I must share our wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I stayed at Almond House in May after the ski season and before the summer season. The views from the house were absolutely spectacular and we found ourselves spending more time sitting on the balcony enjoying it than we did exploring the town. The room that we stayed in was both beautiful and very clean. The entire property was well kept and welcoming. We chose the option that included breakfast which was the perfect way to start our morning. We loved the food that they offered and sitting on the enclosed porch overlooking the view. One morning my boyfriend did not want to join for breakfast and they gave me a tray filled with food to bring back to the room for him! We also chose to purchase the hot tub option and the hosts were very accommodating when we asked to reschedule the time slot we had originally picked. Sitting in the hot tub with the view behind us may be the most memorable experience of my life. Additionally, I purchased 2 hot tubs thinking I needed one for myself and one for the boyfriend when come to find out I only needed the 1 for the time slot and they refunded me the money (in cash) without me even asking or knowing they were going to! The hosts were incredible, friendly people who shared stories with us and offered suggestions for places to eat and visit. Unknowingly to them, we have deemed them our new best friends. Our life goal is to now purchase the house next to them and open it as a mini 'hotel' the same as them. We will absolutely be back to visit and I can not recommend this place enough. Thank you for the most magical and memorable experience...
Read moreAlmond House has one of the most stunning views of the Mount Parnassus range. The ride up to Arachova, was a bit nail biting for those like myself, who are afraid of heights, but once at Almond House, it was well worth the windy road up the hill. Almond House is located about 10 minutes from the archeology sight of Delphi -a must-see if you are interested in Greek history. In the evenings, we were able to park our rental car just above the house, and walk into town for dinner -maybe a quarter mile or so. ||We spent 2 nights at Almond House, in room #201. It was a large room and bathroom, with an updated/modern shower, small fridge, comfortable bed, and the front window view was spectacular. The room was also cleaned each day. Breakfasts were included in the cost, and were buffet style – with eggs, homemade pastries, juice, yogurt and more, as well as cappuccino or regular coffee – all delicious and filling. Yiannis was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do in the area, in addition to Delphi. Both Yiannis and his wife were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay...
Read moreBeen here for a weekend in September, to have a break from Athens (just 2hrs drive). Almondhouse is wonderful: nice and roomy suites, with great view on the valley. Peaceful at day, and silent and dark at night, as a retreat place should be. You Can enjoy the view also from the open air hot tube (30min per session).|Personnel is really kind and breakfast is good and with good choice of food. You Can use Almondhouse as your "basecamp" for your trip in Mount Parnassus area. Just 15' from Delphi (and I suggest to stay in Arachova more than directly Delphi, cause it's quiter and cooler, both in temperature and environment) and other 10' from Parnassus hiking area, where you Can have nice walks on the mount (I climbed up to the top, 2400mt, in about 2h30').||Thank you Almondhouse, my friends got jelous seeing my IG stories from you Jacuzzi. See you next...
