Ellinon Thea - Arachova — Hotel in Distomo-Arachova-Antikyra Municipality

We stayed at this hotel for one night and weren't at all pleased. There were no free parking spots close to the hotel entrance so the man at the front desk directed us to a farther parking spot. Only after we climbed back to the hotel with our luggage the man realized that our reservation included parking at the hotel. That was clearly something he should have checked when I came in to ask where we should park. At first glance the hotel and our room looked roomy and nice, but we soon discovered many fatal flaws. Closet doors were coming off their hinges, the bathroom drawers suffered water damage, the bathroom faucet was loose and there was no way to hang the showerhead from above. Cigarette smoke was constantly coming in from all windows. Breakfast was disappointing. There was very little to choose from and none of it was particularly good. There was no salad, only a few slices of tomato and cucumber on a small serving plate. The coffee...

We stayed in the Ellinon Thea Hotel in Arachova for 2 nights. The hotel is located in one of the narrow and steep streets of Arachova, which is in fact a ski area in the winter. But since it is really close to Delphi, we had booked our hotel in this town.||Our room had a very nice view on the mountains. The room was ok, but we had to take a shower, standing in the bathtub. The receptionist was very kind and supportive. The looks of the hotel are a bit outdated. Breakfast is in the basement. It was the second time we were in Arachova (March 2019, we were skiing at Mount Parnassos). We came back because we wanted to visit the ancient Delfi. But we stayed again in Arachova, because the village has a little bit more charme than Delphi has and because we really liked our first time in the Ellinon Thea. The Ellinon Thea is a beautiful Hotel and the staff is very kind. Because of the COVID-19, they had to bring us the breakfast to our room, which was nice, bc so we ate on the balcony.
