Kataphygio — Hotel in Distomo-Arachova-Antikyra Municipality

This is a small hostel, located on the quiet end of Arachova village. If you plan to ski in the morning, it' s quite nice to know that you don't have to drive through the whole village to get a head start. Although, there are several other hotels in the vicinity, this one has the unique advantage of having its very own parking lot - believe me that is a big deal. The rooms are quite small but cosy. The accent wall is made of masonry, the ceiling is covered with timber and the drapes are red. They do provide all the basic needs (TV, hair dryer, and a mini-bar fridge). They are cleaned every day and will provide you with a cot-bed if you ask for one. They have a basic breakfast buffet on the lower level where there is small, cosy lounge with a fireplace. We only stayed 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. Quite small rooms but very well designed use of space. Shower had these cool jets that felt like jets in a hot tub. Had a TV, bar size fridge.||Our nice patio had a peek a boo view of the valley and nice view of the famous church on the hill. Clean and comfy with no noise from the street. We loved the short stay and would return if we came back again in the future. Good value and friendly warm service. We came across this very cosy and neat guesthouse, the owner was a very gentle chap, who really treated us as if we were his house guests. The room was special with a fire place and gave a romantic twist on top of our stay.|Arachova is a nice place with lots of fine restaurants, bars and shops to stroll to after a long day on the ski’s.|Katafygio is situated in town, but has its own parking which is a great asset.
