An old school taverna serving exceptional local cuisine. Pro: Insanely delicious local mountain dishes like wild boar, rooster, and goat. Slow cooked so that a flavorful bark forms on the outside, but the meat is tender, moist, and falls off the bone. Everything is home made. We had the Formaela cheese (DOP, local, must try), the zucchini florets. The basic house red wine was ideal. The perfect depth, complexity, and structure to compliment slow cooked delicacies. Apparently the owner harvests many of the menu items himself, like the wild boar. Very reasonable prices - beer is €4; half liter of house wine is €6; our main courses were under €20.
